I received my DPV9 from eastmall.net (Thanks David) 4 days ago, and I love it. The two piece design is awesome. Up until now I was using a micro, which for me really helped me quit. It didn't vape near as well as this one does, but the realistic size was important for me personally to quit. it looked like a real cig so I was not at all self consious with it out in public, but after a while it just wasn't satisfying enough for me. The DPV9 gives me plenty of vapor, and makes all my juices taste very nice. I get through a whole day out at work on one battery and cartridge now instead of 3 batteries and 3 carts for my micro, so way more convenient. now that I've quit the analogs the look of it being real doesn't bother me at all now, although I do hate the damn multi colored cartridges.

I am sure others may have done this with their DPV9's or VK's that have the multi colors, but I thought I would let you know what I did to change the carts to black to match my batteries. I think it works very well.

I simply got some 3/8 inch shrink tubing from Radio Shack, and shrunk that around the colored carts. It works great. There is no taste at all from it, and it gives your mouthpiece a nice cushiony feel if you tend to hold your e-cig in your teeth.

david got my order to me fast from Eastmall too, no problems with customs, had my order in 5 days - thanks again david.

I would highly recommend this model to anyone thinking of making the plunge. I am in NO WAY associated with any vendor - I am just a fairly new vaper - trying to pass on info to anyone who is looking....

Got my today, exactly the same as my VK. I have a problem with the atomizers I'm on fourth cigar flavor right out of the box and it is like an icepick down my throat. I never had this problem with V4L atomizers and I can hold a hit.I usually vape on 36mg cigar, marlboro or Red Bull juice .
Looks like three boxes will go directly in to the garbage can . :grr:

Val don't throw them away...just add some milder tobacco flavored liquid like RY4 or 555 in the cigar carts and it will make the vape alot smoother.

Thank you ! I will try. But I believe that there is something wrong with the mixture of the juice. There is no throat hit strong enough for me. If anyone had a smoke51 they know at the end you vape on burnt paper and it's pretty bad. Here of course no paper so it is the juice.

Val...I don't know how they modify their juices they use, but everything seems to have a stronger hit with the original juice vs the juice we add. The Marlboro cart seems to have the same exact taste of the Marlboro liquid that David Yang sells but has a lot more harsher hit. Same with the cigar...it taste exactly like the Eastmall cigar but the hit is much... much harsher with a fresh cart.

They are definitely doing something since when the cart is fresh I can puff on it all I want and it never gets hot but when I add my juices the cart starts getting hotter and hotter but the hit is never as strong as the original cart.

Hello,

I have the DPV9 carts in Mar'boro and mint and prefer them to the VK carts. I was having a similar bad taste problem to yours but with the VK carts. Some are still not smoeable, but some are much better after 3 to 4 drags. Someone said the atomizer has to break in. Someone else also said that carts vary from one to the other because they are had made. You might want to try several drags off of each one before you give up on all of them. I do find that if it is tollerable after several puffs, then I vap for a bit and top off some. The flavor is better after that. I still get enough thoat hit for me, but I may not need as strong of hit as you, that's all personal preference. Good luck to you and if you find a better solution, let us know. Thanks!

Today I was contacted By David Yang and was offered a refund or replacements. I'm sure we will work out something . :)

When you say the DPV9, Vapor King and Nebula are all "2-part" ecigs....does this mean they are the type with the atomizer in the cart.

Is this like the Red Dragon Bran that you replace the atomizer each time you replace the cart?

Sorry if I seem like I am asking dumb questions but I'm so new to this whole thing. I really like the Red Dragon brand but before I order a bunch more stuff, I want to be sure it is the best option

Yes, both the VK and DPV9 are 2 piece ones-- battery and cart w/atomizer in it. I really like my DPV9. Just ordered 3 more kits from eastmall. I do not have a Red Dragon, so I can't say how it compares. If you try one of these others, let us know what you prefer. Thanks, Gingerbread:)

The DPV9 == Vapor King == Nebula == KR808D-1 (the generic model name for them).
It's been re-branded, arguably with or without major, or any, differences, under the names above, plus a few others.
Check here for a partial list of where to get one:
    http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-nebula-etc.html?highlight=KR808D-1+Suppliers

cigeasy.com (new vendor) has a pretty good deal on these right now (just ordered a pair to try yesterday, no afficiation, etc etc).
