Karn, I just got my Echo 1300mah on Monday and I'm also wowed.

I have had one cigarette today, maybe four yesterday, six the day before, and I am not missing ANYTHING about cigs. Isn't this miraculous? I have white-knuckled every other attempt at cutting down or quitting. I didn't actually start doing this with the intention of quitting, just cutting down. But here I am!

However, I am noticing how bad my car and the clothes in my closet smell, which is depressing.

And I'm spending a TON of $$ on supplies of all kinds, but that will taper off once I feel certain I don't need to run out for a pack of smokes.

I'm glad to see the Echo getting lots of love recently. We've had a recent influx of new Echo users over in the big thread this week. I'd love to see 808 accessories become just as common and varied as the 510 seems to be. I feel like 510ers get all the cool new cartos/tanks/fancy stuff and us poor 808ers have to wait for the innovation to trickle down! :laugh:

Welcom aboard karn! And way to go karn and kren!!

I have the auto Echo and have really enjoyed using it. I really hope that the ecig helps your Mom with dropping the stinkies!

There's lots of help here, so don't be shy. Reach out if you need some support with anything.

I've been blown away with the amount of help and friendliness and general above-and-beyondness of the Echo users, the suppliers of Echos and juice, and the ECF community in general. I've spent thousands of hours on other forums devoted to other issues and there has always been a scary period where you're crossing your fingers you don't get flamed or mod-alerted for saying something stupid. There is no such thing as a stupid question here - I'm sure I've already asked several! -- and people are just plain NICE. It's wonderful, especially considering the steep learning curve that vaping requires. It is extremely intimidating to come here, see thousands of threads, completely impenetrable terminology, electrical talk worthy of a course at the local community college -- yet folks will help you out with all your questions; you've just gotta ask!

Kren, it's because of that steep learning curve that people are so friendly and helpful here. Everyone has been there at some point, and ECF is as much a support group as it is a place to learn. We're all trying to give up a nasty habit, and in doing so, we are picking up a very fun and interesting hobby. :)

@karn
So sorry to hear about the dead battery. I had the same thing happen on one of my KGOs. It must be especially hard for you if that is the only gear that you have. If you're in the Chicago area, please feel free to PM me and I would be happy to lend you an Echo to tide you over until you get your new gear.

@kren
I felt the same way when I first posted. It was a great feeling to receive such a warm welcome. And you're so right about being intimidated by all of the jargon and the copious amount of info available. But the support on this forum has really been a crucial part of my success with the vaping experience.
