Got my eGo today, and I have a question

I got my eGo today, and dam* was that fast shipping. I just ordered it 2 days ago. Anyways, someone told me to charge it 8 hours, smoke for 20 minutes, then charge another 1 hour. (Somewhere here on the threads)

So I plugged it in, and 1 hour and 45 mins later, it was green (charged). Does this sound right?


Also, is there a thread that will give the steps to putting this puppy together? Preferably with step by step pictures.

Or a video? I youTubed it, and didn't find any assembly videos.....

Sorry to be such a noob, just don't want to do anything to mess it up.

Also, they sent me 2 tanks, for the eGo tank, I think. Not actually sure WTF they are.

Wrong charge info! You did right. The batteries are part charged & you can use it now. Put the other one on the charger.
You may need to post which kit, is it eGo-T?

ya no need for 8 hrs of charging. they come half charged (my ego did and so did the others i bought).like sirvette said charge one and use one. when the first one dies switch them out. keep them on rotation. my ego 1100mah battery last me about 2-3 days each charge. i dont vape during the day so thats probably why but they are great.

You should have received a small instruction manual in your kit. Alternately, check the Joyetech site. They host a short vid from Dragonfly of a demo of the T.

Ok, thanks, guys! I ordered the regular eGo. I didn't want to get into tanks and all that, until I know what I'm doing.

I did add the 1000mAh batteries for each.

Blow the shipping fluid out of the atomizer- you can use the round cart (mouthpiece on it which does not have the filler for e-liquid). Screw atty on battery. Screw cone on.
Drip 3 drops e-liquid into atty. Get out another cart from the pkg. & drip e-liquid into it from bottom & place on atty., ready to vape now.

Hit the button a sec. early & draw slowly.

If you can't find it that way look for The Vapor Pro Joye ego-t mega 2ml tank system. Even if you have a different type you will be able to get the drift.

So I realized I was over thinking all of this. I was out with my horses, and went ahead and screwed it all together, and everything worked fine. My only problem? I need some good flavors. I got a menthol variety pack, and yuck! One is tolerable, but the other 3 are not good. Can't wait for my mom & pop vapor shop flavors to come in.

Mom and Pop rocks! What flavors did you pick up? I'm on my third order with them - working my way through most of their flavors. I've only found one so far (out of almost 20 flavors) that I haven't liked.

Updating this to say, I have not smoked an analog since I got my eGo in on Thursday. 5 days! Do you understand how phenomenal this is?? Truly? I've smoked since I was 11 yrs old. I'm 32. That is BAD. This is GOOD. I love my eGo, and am off to find the guy who suggested I skip the ciggy look alikes and go straight for something with more staying power. Bless that man. And thank you to the entire ECF community for making quitting analogs possible for so many of us. Your patience and support is overwhelming, and gives us hope that we, too, can quit this horrible addiction. Bless all of you, and I wish you all the merriest of Christmases, and a Happy, smoke free New Year. Love you all!
