So I am sitting here contemplating buying myself a tornado. I just like the idea of them. As I have always used cartos up til now however, I did want to ask how long I can expect an atty to last. IN other words, how many spare ones would I want to make sure to have? It is too late for me to contact them tonight, but maybe one of you will know if they will substitute the prefilled tank cartridges that come with the kit with empty ones, as I don't like either tobacco or menthol flavors, and I don't do the nicotine thing anymore. That juice would just end up going into the sink, and that seems such a waste.

Still waffling on it. I am completely happy with my little 808d to be honest. But the tornado does look cool. Guess that is really the thing. Is it cool enough to be worth it. LOL

The Tornado is not the same thing as the Riva. It is a rebranded eGo-T. To make the Riva into one, you'd need to buy eGo-T atomizers and empty tanks. Those atomizers are among the most expensive out there.

Tornadosiren, I've never heard of an eGo-T of any brand coming with any juice at all. Those tank atomizers are pretty finicky and you'll need to keep them clean. How long they last has been all over the map.

I have been using the same 2 ego-t attys that came with my kit from Cignot(great company by the way) for a month and a half and both still vape like new. All I do to maintain them is every 3 or 4 days I set them battery end down in a pot of hot water and gently push and suck water through them with a 20cc syringe(I do this 5 or 6 times). Just be sure you don't push the water through with too much force(I have heard you can dislodge the wick) Blow out the water that is inside from the battery end and let dry overnight.

The tornado is a rebranded ego, the tornado-t is a rebranded ego-t. As far as the tanks being finicky, I've had zero problems with mine, as long as I keep them clean.

And the tornado-t kit from TW comes with five prefilled tanks.

From my EVO to your eyeballs!

I was running 808s but wasn't happy with the constant recharging... got a go-go from nhaler yesterday and it is great. Huge bat and the cartos are 3mL and last a LONG time... better deal that constantly replacing expensive attys

That's what I said about my ego-T when I only had it for a day.

I actually like the egoT. Love the idea of filling the tank and not messing with cartos. I also liked the taste of the vape too. I had a pass-thru that died after a month too. I guess stuff happens. I guess I'll see with the new atty.

I'm actually contemplating getting a go-go.

I actually prefer the idea of cartomizers... new atty every time you grab a new one and none of the cleaning, but then I might just be lazy. 5 go go carts are the same price as most attys and only about $6 buck more that my 808 cartos were that only held 1/3 the amount of juice.

You actually use the same atty with the ego-t, just change the tank. Plus you can wash out the tank. Cartomizers are made to be disposable. In theory, the ego-t was perfect. And it is for some people. I just had issues with mine only lasting three weeks.

Not trying to disuade you from loving your Go-Go. Hope you do! As I said, I'm thinking about getting one.

I find that you have to clean the tank attys more than other type of attys for them to perform like new. Every three days or so....I run hot water through it from both ends under the sink for about a 30 seconds. Blow it out from both ends. Do about 5 dry burns. Run water through it again. blow it out again....give the atty a couple short burst to dry it off. Add a couple of drops of eliquid through the better end....and the atty performs like new. IT only takes about 2 minutes to clean the attys. IF you don't clean them I don't think they will last more than a few weeks. SO far I have had no problems at all....and I think the EgoT is the best ecig I have tried.

I appreciate the advice guys..I will look at the ego and a few others as well. I am just trying to not buy just to buy. Thanks!!

Have you considered a bigger 808? THE ELEGANT EASY- MINI KIT

I just got one and it's really nice. I didn't want to mess with atomizers and I have a ton of 808 cartomizers so I just got a bigger battery. You will need to get a new charger for this model but it's still 808 cartomizers.
