Got my Gripper yesterday!

I finally got the gripper! Chared the batts over night and starte using this morning. Having some issues though. Never came with a manual either. Heres the problems im encountering:
batteries go in and unit turns on to the 3.7 red led. Goto fire and it will fire for about 2-3 seconds and then turn off. Only way to get it on again is to reseat the batteries and have to do a few times. Seems like a connection may be loose in the battery area. Once reseated it works for a few more seconds and shuts off. Makes a weird high pitch sound when firing not sure if its supposed to.

Am i doing somthing wrong here??

Byw when it does fire, even at 3.7 this thing fires hard and good. The vapor and throat hit it produces is way better then most mods i have used at 3.7 or even 5v

Anyway any help would be appreciated.

the manual is under the top box, it is pressed firmly, check under the top box.

is this happening with the cartos provided.

check the manual, then if it persists and is not working properly make a ticket at igotvapes and youll be handled

And to answer your question Bad i was using a tank and first with an extender. Seems to work fine with the actual clearos. Are these not intended for anything else?

well , what kind of tank, what is the ohms , is it dual coil etc.. i dont think low reistance can work on these, not to sure but ill get more info

Dct snoketech 1.5's and i thing your right. Even at 3.7 it shorts after a few seconds. Overall this thing is a beast though with the clearos

well you can use all types just cant uset lr, ive used all the visions on them, stardust, fluxos etc. all worked well.

so that might be your issue becuase of the dc LR.

they truly put out good power, that has been confirmed by reviewers, the voltages are true.

Yea they do. When it works for the few seconds on the 1.5 carto at 3.7v it hits harder then my 5v GLV. Definitely looking forward to its true potential when i get my hands on some higher ohm cartos! Wouldnt mind using the clearos that came with it but at work i go through 5ml+ so the tank is more convenient

Update: 2.0 ohm dual coils worked slightly longer then the unit shut off or light stayed solid. Will try 2.5's next and post the results

is a stone or grande even going to fit on this thing? won't it need an extension?

as far as the DCT's, does that mean this won't work with DCT tanks? even at 3.7?

I have extenders so its bo problem. Tanks will work but i need to figure out which ohms on the cartos will work. The 2.0's worked a lot longer then the 1.5's at 3.7 and 5.0. Im thinking 2.5ohm dc's will be the money spot

Mine fires fine with a 1.5ohm DCC tank @ 3.7v. Problem is it's awfully hot and snap-crackles-pops. At 5v I can fire it but it tastes burnt and probably in short order would destroy the DCC if used regularly.

So far I've been really liking some 2.8ohm cartos @ 5v!
