Got my new eGo...Still a n00b

Alright, so I have my new eGo, and I have a few questions...

It came with one empty cartridge do I drip in there? I did BTW...I just took my liquid and dripped 4 droplets and screwed it on, is that the correct way to go about? And how many drops so I give it?

Also, I have preloaded tobacco flavored carts, when they're used up, can I empty them and put a different liquid in? Will this affect flavor to a noticeable degree? If I can reuse them how do I go about cleaning them?

Another is, how long should I recharge? Say If I'm smoking on this thing maybe 60 puffs for an hour and I'm doing it 6 hours a day, what would be ideal so I'm getting the best out of my battery?

Also I take a few hits and its strong, but after the first 7 or 8 puffs I can barely feel it, this is pretty common with me and analogs anyway, but just to make sure, is that normal? Or am I not giving my battery enough time to charge.

ALSOOOOO...Can I mix flavors? Or is that going to make some ridiculous nicotine death puff.

An empty cart is an empty cart. It doesn't matte whether it used to be filled with something else or not.

1. Remove the filler material.
2. Drip liquid into the empty cart until it's 80-90% of the way full. The average 510 cart will take between 12 and 16 drops depending on the liquid you're using and whether not it's completely dried out.
3. Put the filler back in. Be aware that if there's still a lot of liquid in the filler, you won't be able to put as much in the cart.
4. Clean up any overflow. You want the end of the filler material to be wet, but you don't want liquid puddled up on the end. If the end looks dry, add 1 or 2 more drops right on the end to get it going.
5. Eventually, the filler material will get matted and melted and not fill the cart anymore. At that point you can replace the filler yourself, or just get more empty carts.

You can take the polyfill out of the prefilled cartridges when they are empty and rinse them under warm water; then pat dry. Replace it back into the cartridge and add drops until moist. Yes, you can mix flavors. Vendors in here will only sell up to 36mg. nicotine content and most sell between 18-24mg. The hits always start out strong. As it weakens, just add a couple more drops.

Hi Sami and welcome to the world of vaping. I'm very new to this as well, just started on New Years Day:D

As for filling the empty carts, here a link about how to fill a cart : Highping cart mode. He modify it alittle to get the best results, I tried it myself and it's works great! When I first started I was getting annoyed on how often I always need to top of my carts. Using this method from the link makes it alot more convinence.

As for cleaning the carts : I just run it through tap water until the smell of the old e juice is gone, and let it air dry. (I take out the filler inside the cart) run them both under water. I'm still using the filler that came with the carts, but you can also use blue foam, and tea bags as filler. I haven't tried any of those yet myself though.

As for the taste, if you didn't clean the carts and put in other e juice. Well you might like it, or not. It all depends on how it taste. It might taste yucky or maybe you like it even more with the little mix of the 2 different ejuice in it :D

Both of my ego kits came with empty carts that did not contain pollyfill. I did use these to drip before I started using drip tips. If you open the empty cart, there is a piece just under the end (under the hole where your mouth goes) that can be knocked out. Once you knock that out you can easily use these to drip. Just use 3 drops directly on the atomizer and then put the empty cartridge on and go.

HELP! I have two different types of atties...what I like to call innies and outties...(don't laugh)...what are they called? I keep reading 901....510...blablabla.....which is which?

There are a lot of different types of atomizers and batteries, so I can't know for sure without more info. However, 510 atomizers are "innies" and most of the "outies" I've seen have been on super-mini e-cigs.

Replace it back into the cartridge and add drops until moist.

I my experience, this is the hardest AND slowest way to refill a cart, and a complete waste of time. Fill the cart up 80-90% of the way BEFORE you put the polyfil back in the cart. It's much easier and faster to do in that order. You may end up with the end not damp at first which means you're not putting in enough liquid. Or, you might end up with liquid spilling all over when you put the polyfill back in, which means you used too much. After a while you won't have trouble either direction.

Also....some batteries are skinny ala Virginia Slims; and some are uhmmm....more bigger ala normal analog.....are there special numbers for those?

I've never heard of an e-cig as thin as a virginia slim. However, there are MANY e-cigs on the market the same size as a regular king size cigaretter. i.e. Marlboro Reds sized. These include the BluCig, Luci, Volcano v-kit, Revolver Elite and many others besides. The attys on these are almost all "outies." To answer the question, yes. There is a specific model name and/or number for each of these, but you haven't given enough info to identify them.

Then there are others that are thicker than a regular cig. As thick as Camel Wides or a little thicker. These include the 510, KR808D-1 and several others as well. These are almost all either "innies" or use cartomizers. (cartomizers are a cartridge and atty in 1)
