Just wanted to let everyone know that I got my 510 today and am already hooked on vaping. The only hard part is putting it down. Unlike an analog that eventually burns itself down, this thing doesn't quit (until the battery dies)

Now I have to figure out what to put in the blank carts so I can refill them

Also wanted to say thanks to everyone here for helping me get started vaping and stopped smoking. In a previous thread, I listed what I bought to get me started and several folks said I was going to run out before payday. Lo and behold, I get a PM from a member here who is shipping me some juice to get me through till I get paid again. Hopefully I'll get the chance to help someone else out in the future.

While I have your attention, I have a few quick ?'s:

Do I have to wait 8 hours for the battery to charge initially?

How many puffs = 1 analog? (assuming a 2-3 second puff)

I know the batteries are good for 2-3 hours for the 510, but is that 2-3 hours of use, or 2-3 hours from the time I take it off the charger?

How many puffs = empty cart?

How many puffs = dead battery?

Thanks!!

Battery life all depends on YOU. and how you "vape". If your constantly suckin on the thing it'll drain the batt quicker and go through more juice.

Jus think of how you baby your gas pedal in your car. everyone goes through a certin amount of gas at a different rate.

Also the faster you vape the quicker you'll dry out a cart and it won't allow enough time to "wick" the rest of the juice out of the cart to the atty. Um for your number of puffs questions, it all depends on your puffs you take. How big of hits you take, how often you hit it. Just like my gas example. and all this goes for battery life also. I have 510 batts and sometimes they last 1.5 hours sometimes they last 5 or 6. Depends on how you use it.. Hope that helps!

OK, I get it about the juice, but can anyone tell me anything about the batteries? What I really need to know is whether the 2-3 hours is from use, or 2-3 hours from the time I take it off the charger. I know it'll depend on how I use it but when does the clock start? Trying to figure out how many batteries I'll need for an average day

I really would look into getting a USB passthrough. I use them anytime I am near a power source, ie computer, car (with usb adapter), USB hub in the garage (my smoking spot).

If you have a dead battery you can make one using any USB cable, I saw a post on here where they were using RCA cables that connect pretty well to the 510 atomizer as well.

It means 2 to 3 hours of usage, of being on. If you vape almost non-stop you'll eat that time up more quickly than if you vape slowly. Also long drags will eat up the batteries and juice faster than equivalent short drags. That means a 10 second long vape will use more battery power and juice than 2 5 second drags. That's why we can't give you any numbers for what you're asking, too many variables.

You must determine how long the bat. lasts in your usage. If that is "2-3 hours" then for you it's 2-3 hrs use.
If you take a fully charged bat. off the charger & don't use it then it will very slowly discharge. This should not be an issue unless you forget it somewhere.

That's what I wanted to know, since it will probably sit for hours at a time while I'm at work

It all depends on usage. The battery time you will discover when it goes dead. The cart, the best advise, is if you just want to get a dozen puffs, top it off. If you want to spend some time with it, pull out the filler, fill it up and stuff the filler back in. then top it off. All of this you can discover by spending a week trying it out. A lot of good info can be found just reading through this site :)

I vape almost on a daily level and it really depends on where I'm at. If I'm at home, I can usually get about a few hours worth in before I have to switch batteries. However, if I'm at the bars, I tend to vape A LOT more and a battery will last about hour tops. Plus look into mods, I used the Q-Tip straw mod and now my cart will last just as long as the battery.

On your replacement parts/ juice, where in NC are you? I'm in Charlotte, and so is myfreedomsmokes, so I get basically overnight shipping at standard rates. got normal shipping, my juice shipped on the 11th, got it on the 12th...

Now thats an awesome deal on shipping! the best i've got is i ordered and i get it 2 days after i order. So really 3 days. It also depends on what time i order. If its pretty early in the day it ships out that day in most cases.
