I had been using a kit that I purchased from a mall. It is from a company called Cigotine and I have not been able to find much information about it on the Internet. I started coming to this forum to learn about other devices and choices.Everyone here has been great and last Saturday I ordered the 510 carto starter kit from Electonic Stix, along with the battery pack, 15ml of juice and 5 blank cartos. Jason sent me an e-mail confirming my order and it shipped on Monday. I received my kit today and was quite impressed. It was packaged very well and was received in good condition.

While I was waiting for my kit I had a few questions that I e-mail to him and he did respond rather quickly. I have not used other companies for gear since I am quite new to vaping but I though I would inform everyone of my expirence with this company.

(To the moderators: If I have posted this in the incorrect place please let me know)

Welcome to the forum! The 510 is a good place to start. You will find that juices vary widely and you may want to check out some juice reviews here in the forum to get an idea of what people like.

Most new vapers are insistent on tobacco flavors. After a while, most of us try some of the other flavors and find that we like them as much or more than tobacco flavors. Some of my favorites are English Toffee, Cotton Candy, Key Lime, and Caramel. I still keep a big bottle of 555 around and some Turkish (Camel). You can always mix in a few drops of a sweet flavor with tobacco flavors if they get a little bland or harsh to sweeten them up. Just add another flavor as you fill a cart and experiment.

The average vaper here goes through about 2-3ml of juice per day. You might want to order some juice before you run out! 3ml sample bottles are a good, inexpensive way to find your favorites. You get to taste a juice for a while and decide what you like.

Thats good info. I was not sure how long 15ml would hold me. Yes, I did get tobacco flavored since I know what that tastes like. I will def order some sample packs and see what else is out there.

Here is a question: If I take flavor 1 at 11mg of nicotine and mix it with flavor 2 that has 11mg of nicotine a 50/50 mix; will the new flavor (flavor 3) has 11mg of nicotine or 22mg?

11mg.

When you fill a brand new blank cartomizer, make sure you wait at least a half hour to give it a chance to wick all the way in. If you don't you risk burning the filling and it will taste terrible from then on. Also add new juice as soon as it gets rather dry and tasteless, again so it doesn't burn.

Congrats on your new PV. Welcome to the world of vaping.

I started on tobacco flavors because some food flavors made me crave an analog. My first all-day one was Backwoods Brew Casablanca just because it reminded me of my analogs (a light complex Turkish blend - a bit nutty, has a bit of cocoa, a bit of sweet). I found for me the most tobacco-smelling flavors were Camel-alikes and Desert Ship (both Turkish blends). I got my Desert Ship in 70pg/30vg at FreedomSmokeUSA. To change up the flavor for variety, I would add a bit of chocolate, vanilla, or oRYental 4 to it (oRYental is FSUSA's sweet caramelly vanilla tobacco). Eventually from there I actually switched to mainly vaping FreedomSmokeUSA oRYental4 and Backwoods Brew Vanilla Bean and Backwoods Brew Casablanca

Fruit flavors added to tobacco are also interesting - I would add Backwoods Brew Peach to my starter 100% PG "Tobacco" liquid and it actually made a nice vape.
