Got my order today, YAY. But I have some questions

So i got my order today, I am pleased. The only sucky part is that I opened a new pack of analogs on my way to check the mail, oh well. I do have 2 of the freebie cartos I will want to trade if possible due to the flavors... but if I were the typical woman Mark would have gotten the freebies dead on, lol. I'm just not into pina colada or menthol.

Anyhoo, I have a question about the USB charger. Is blue or red charging? It seemed to be switching back and forth like it was loose. I solved the problem by propping the end of the battery up with the PCC. Now the color is blue, so does that mean its charging?

Also, how long till the batteries are charged? How will I know?

I tried it out with the passthrough already (and I like it!) but I am dying to try it out all the way. I have both batteries and the PCC charging right now. Off to find a box/case/bag of some kind to store it all in.

OK thank you. That makes me wonder if maybe the USB charger has issues. It can't decide on blue or red, if I apply a bit of pressure it switches back and forth more. I think it might not be getting solid contact. I have the PCC supporting it now so it seems to work, but I won't be able to do that with my PC, only my laptop.

Its charging now, but I don't see any thread to screw in on the USB charger, seems to just pop in. Sounds a little funny when it does. I will give it a shot and if its still funny I will contact customer service to see what they say.

Sorry, my bad. The USB charger is not threaded; just make sure it is pushed all the way in. Also consider that the battery may already be charged as keyzygirl said and it is alternating on and off. All three batts I got with my order were precharged, or very close to fully charged on arrival.

I had that same problem with my first USB charger with the No. 7 kit. I felt like the battery wasn't making a good connection because when I'd touch the battery the light would flash to blue but when I released it it would go back to flashing between red and blue. Weird.

I wonderedif they might be charged. The one in the wall charger is green now, so must be charged. The one on the USB is solid red now that I firmly propped the end up. I think it was having trouble making contact with my usb port, not the battery. I am going to fire up a different laptop and try charging it there to see what happens, could be my USB port.

The batts arrive fully (or almost fully) charged. When your batt is almost completely charged, the led will flicker blue/red/blue/red like you described. When it's solid blue, you're good to go.

I have 4 different V4L USB chargers.

One un-corded one that the battery pushes in.

One un-corded one that the battery screws in.

One corded one that the battery pushes in.

Several corded ones that the battery screws in.

On the push-in type chargers, I've found that they work better if I firmly (but not hard) push the battery in and give it a little wiggle. Sometimes I can feel a little "click", which I believe is the point of the charger's center pin dropping into the battery's hole. Then I plug the charger into the USB port.

I typically can't stand the Pina Colada flavored anything but I really liked the carto they threw in on one order. Give it a try. You might be surprised.

Well so far so good. I got everything to charge and have been vaping all day with only half an analog :) I found that some flavors are was not sure about were great, and some I thought i would love I don't, lol. I did manage to find someone to trade that pina colada and menthol too, I just can't do pina colada anything. My throat is a little raw...but I think thats more from my cold. So so far this is good, I am already planning my next order, lol.

Be sure to drink lots of water, even more during the adjustment period. The PG will dehydrate you, especially the throat and sinus.

Give cartos a chance, even if you think you don't like the flavor - it takes them awhile to "get going", get the optimum vaporization. Also, your tastebuds will start changing very quickly and frequently once you get off the cigarettes.

I have already converted my neighbor who says "this is the niftiest thing in the universe!" and is planning to order a battery and box of cartos to try out for a week before ordering a full kit. I can charge up her battery for her.

I also ordered some syringes after finding that I am not great at taking the little white plug off without hurting it. The only thing I wish I could do is order a mix n match sampler, basically of box of 5 of my choosing so I would know exactly what I like and what I don't like.

I am wondering, has anyone mixed flavors? Like filling a carto with say half chocolate and half coffee or something? how does that work out?

I think my middle child is trying to test me and see if this different nicotine system works (even though he has no idea, he's only 5) because seriously, if I was going cold turkey from analogs today I would have killed the child already. OK not killed, but I probably would have tried listing him on ebay or at least made him scrub toilets. He's driving me nuts, but so far no desire to scream or flip out so clearly I am getting enough nicotine.
