OK, got my 510 manual kit, 402 w/ pcc kit, extra carts, halo (freedom and torque) juice and 2 bottles of surprise juice from madvapes! Fried apple (delicious) and marb (meh). The carts that came with the 402 were pathetic compared to the refill with the new juices. I find myself putting a few drops of fried apple into every cart, even with the halo juice.

Questions,
1) How many drops can the 402 carts hold, they have a very small sponge in the bottom of the cart...

2) Same question about the 510 carts, they seem to be packed to the brim with sponge...

C)The 510 charger is usb style with a wall plug and car plug, no box kit, no manual. How do I know when the batt is fully charged? There is a green light on the usb since I plugged it into the wall and a red guy on the wall plug adapter. I assume the red light just means the plug is working, but the green one...

4)Has anyone seen my keys?

5)The 402 came with a non-nic cart, anyway to clean that out and refill it without vaping it?

6)Is it ok to charge batts when they are not completely dead?

Also I have to give credit to both madvapes and Halo, both delivered 2 days after I ordered.

1: No idea

2: Mine tend to take about 8-10 when empty, but I don't mess with them to get them to hold more since I switched to dripping.

3: Green = fully charged, if it's not the charger light will display red.

4: Yes, I took them last night.. stop drinking so heavily.

5: Take the fill out, soak all the liquid out with paper towels by folding it over the batting and pressing it out till you get no more liquid, replace, refill, enjoy. *Not recommended with menthol unless replacing with menthol nic*

6: Yes, Lithium-Ion batteries are *supposed* to not have charge memory, but they will develop it to a smaller extent over time. Otherwise charging them while they're not dead is fine in my experience.

When you're refilling your 510, do this..take the polyfiller out of the cart. Completely. See how long that is? Right! Doesn't have to be!! Cut it into 3 pieces. Fill the cart up with juice, (I get between 10-13 drops in there), put the little piece of filler back on the top, but don't push it down there...you should only have 1mm or so from the top of the cart to the plug. Drip 1-2 drops ONLY onto the atty, replace the cartridge and you're off!!

1) abt 6 to 9 drops depending on the size of the dropper - filling should look saturated without overfilling - no 'lake' effect on top. The filling will wick against the atomizer bridge (capillary action) so it should lightly touch but shouldn't be jammed down into the filling

note: after filling, holding tissue lightly to fill end, blow thru mouthpiece forcefully to dislodge any condensation inside the mouthpiece (this will not blow out the filling since it's in a separated chamber). If you've overfilled, dab off excess with corner of paper towel. (personally I don't siphon off excess with the dropper bottle tip itself because of risk of cross-contamination )
note2: see: "straw mod" below

2) ditto

3) normally the 'green' light on the usb will turn red when you plug a batt into it and will return to green (or flashing green/red) when batt is fully charged. the red on the wall wart the usb plugs into will normally always be red

4) I'm seeing a dog dish. And scenes of a dog park. Approach your dog with tennies on and leash in hand and your dog will 'find' the keys under it's dish. If you don't have a dog, strongly suspect your neighbor's dog.

5) filling usually can be removed and rinsed with water, dried by blotting on paper towel or air-dry
6) yes, but do not overcharge - usually need no more than 5 hours of charging and should be removed from the charger when lite indicates they are done. No 'overnites'. No unattended. Safe storage practices apply: store batteries 50% fully charged, not touching, fireproof box, yadda yadda yadda

1) How many drops can the 402 carts hold, they have a very small sponge in the bottom of the cart...
The 402 carts are very small, as you have found out.

2) Same question about the 510 carts, they seem to be packed to the brim with sponge...
Thinking in terms of drops will only steer you wrong in the end.

Drop size varies, and depends on the viscosity of your juice, the size of the dropper bottle, and probably even how hard you squeeze the darn thing. Better to learn to think in terms of milliliters.

The 510 holds about 0.55 milliliters if I am not mistaken, but if you want to use all of that juice, you need to get different filler material than what comes with the cartridges. So for that you need to check out the Cartridge Mods subforum.

5)The 402 came with a non-nic cart, anyway to clean that out and refill it without vaping it?
Pull out the filler, wash it out under the sink, and then squeeze it dry between a paper towel.

6)Is it ok to charge batts when they are not completely dead?
Absolutely. Lithium-Ion batteries do not have any such issues.
And I charge all my batteries overnight, always, all the time, and always will.
