Try the classifieds. It's a chance to try different liquids from a lot of vendors.

Or head over to the PIF section and trade the juice you don't like with someone that does.

Hey swedish, just wanted to say thanks for linking the classified liquid here:http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-5-30ml-1-50-5ml-dekang-liquid-1-50-10ml.html, yesterday. I got like 110ml for 20 bucks shipped, and my first e-cig and the juices should be here tomorrow. im thinkin ill be a happy camper

I was a menthol smoker for almost 20 years and found that no menthol juice I have tried yet is the same as a menthol cigarette. be adventurous. try some non tobacco flavors, I never thought I would like a flavor like pina colada till I got a sample. it ended up being my all day vape for the first month I had my 801. hang in there. you will find the right flavor eventually

I've spent over 1k on juice in the last 5 months.

Alien visions juice far surpasses any juice vendor out there.

Tasty vapor is good for dessert flavors, halo is awesome for menthols, pure smoker peach minthia is good. Vapor renew is good if you are into vaping ginsing & vitamins & caffiene with your favorite flavors.

Fsusa..... i wasted too much money there, same with juicy vapor. They have lots of sales, their juice is weak.

Based upon my short list of Newbee lamentations, I would say that my biggest hurdle to accepting this hobby as a permanent replacement for cancer sticks was finding "A" right juice reasonably early in the process. One of the problems I ran into was fabulous juice reviews with the unknown caveat that they need steeping to fulfill these amazing taste descriptions.

The prefilled Cartomizers that came with my kit were a big turnoff!!!!! Had I not found this great forum, I wouldn't have even tried any other juice.

My point is that we should come up with a list of juices to recommend to newcomers that live up to their potential right out of the mailbox. My expectations were so high inititally that I cast aside my current favorite juice because it didn't live up to my mental imagery. The VR4 I just about sent back turned out to be fantastic, but how could anyone expect me as a newbie to steep it for 2 weeks after puffing on the only thing I had, the generic Cowboy flavor that came prefilled in my kit?

Which vendors need no steeping?

I'm right there with you, Jen. In fact, I had to start keeping notes of what I'd bought so I didn't accidentally purchase the same stuff again. ;) For me, finding the right personal vaporizer was pretty easy, but an e-liquid I could vape all day? The search was crazy.

I like them quite a bit. For those who don't know what we're talking about, you can find them here:
Alien Visions E-Juice Every vaper owes it to themselves to try Alien Vision's flavor called Boba's Bounty. My personal tobacco favorites come from Want2Vape. They have so many tobbaco extracted juices you're sure to find one you like. You can find them at want2vape Premium USA E Liquid .

In answer to JRM850 who wrote:

I don't think any of them need steeping, and often I prefer juices when they are fresh out of the mailbox. Yeah, I know that flies in the face of what 99% of the posters here would say. My thoughts on e-liquid flavors fresh from the mailbox are as follows:
If I test it out and I like it, it's time to vape it.

But to answer your question in a more direct fashion, if a vendor premixes their stuff, it should be good to go. Want2Vape premixes. I think I heard Johnson Creek premixes. Any Chinese liquid is premixed. I know there are other vendors and I'm sure someone will pop up with some suggestions.

Good luck!

Hi and welcome!
I have only been at this a month, so I'm certainly no expert, but.....

I have noticed a lingering scent from almost every juice I have tried. Even hours later, much like the stinky tobacco cigs leave
their odor, or essential oils/incense leaves a scent.

@jrm850, I have heard/read that Alien Visions juice does not need steeping. It's even in their FAQ, but I have read other members saying some of their AV juice tastes better after steeping.

I personally am one of those that doesn't care for the juices that are supposed to taste like a "thing" or a combo of things.
The fruit ones I've tried don't taste like the fruit to me, they taste like the artificially flavored candy version of the fruit.
May not be a bad thing, but not what I was expecting or wanting. May be the vendor I got them from.

I don't have the cash to just try a bunch willy nilly, so I've been particular..... soooo glad I found this board.
I went to recommended/much mentioned vendors for juices.
I would like to try Backwoods Brew, but so far I've had excellent luck with FreedomSmokeUSA and Alien Visions E-Juice.
One other vendor has a few I can vape, but can't say those juices would be an everyday vape.
One other vendor I tried, while the company itself was very nice as far as service, shipping and prices, their juice tasted perfumey to me. I'll have to try the juices again in a week or so when the taste buds have further cleaned out and the juice has "steeped" some more. I had written to them and they suggested steeping.

I went with some flavors others have raved about, and so far have found a couple I can vape almost constantly and be perfectly happy with. (Haven't even thought about paper and tobacco cigs since I started vaping.)

FreedomSmokeUSA sends a 3ml sample with every order I've placed so far.
I really really really like their Hypnotic Mist, and you can choose your nic level.
It doesn't taste like any specific thing, smells wonderful, and the taste is consistent so far regardless of e-cig I use or length of time the juice sits. Although it does not taste sweet to me (think filled donut/cinnabon/overly sweet sweet) it is on the sweet side. Tastes nothing like any tobacco to me.
I also like their Wyatt Earp. While it does remind me of tobacco as far as taste and smell, it has, to me, a nice licorice taste as well.
I have tried their samples they send and they have all been "vapable" so far without being perfumey or nasty.

I have heard/read many member rave about Alien Visions Boba's Bounty, there's a whole thread pages long extolling it's virtues.
I'm still waiting for that one to grow on me. It's another one that isn't suppose to taste like any one thing or combo of things.
It does taste of tobacco to me, but not an icky tobacco and there is much speculation of what the other tastes are.
I also really really like their Hype. It is, right now, fighting for first place for me with the FSUSA's Hypnotic Myst.
I have also read many members rave about AV Gorilla something or other, but haven't tried it myself.

I believe most vendors offer 3ml or thereabouts sample sizes, and some have sampler packs for not much money.
I think there is a vendor/supplier section of the board where you can look for sales and/or coupon codes.

Good luck and don't give up! You will find something that goes with you.

sdad,

If you are looking for a good tobacco flavour, you might check out Midnight Express, from VaporCast Store

I've tried almost all of their juices and like most of them.

Juice is a very personal preference, but poor quality (Not that I'm saying that's what is going on here), juice will ruin any experience.

I smoked for 30+ years and only switched to vaping about two weeks ago. I wanted a good tobacco flavour, myself, and I really like this one. I just assumed that I needed tobacco flavour to be satisfied while vaping (in fact, I always thought that these "weird" juice flavours would NEVER be for me). However, shortly after saying goodbye to analogs, my tastebuds began to re-awaken and now, I'm enjoying flavours I never thought I would. Personally, I don't think I had sensitive enough taste or sense of smell to appreciate them while still smoking analogs. But maybe that's just me. :2cool:

You might try dripping and see if that suits you better than a carto, but good quality juice is KEY no matter which way you go.

Best of luck!

my taste is changing everyday since I quit analogs...but as a general rule...if you have a sweet tooth...try some sweet juices to start.....if you don't....try some good tobacco flavors:) Most of the Tobacco tastes like pipe tobacco...not analog tobacco. Backwoods Brew has some very subtle tobacco flavors...I like applewood and maple tobacco. If you are into medium sweet...try boba's bounty from alien vision. If you like super sweet...the world is your oyster:)

sorry i thought a reply to a certain post would come up differently, just looks like a general reply to the thread. Now i know. Anyway to the op try a regular tobacco flavor ( i prefer desert ship aka camel ) and add you're own non-nic menthol flavor, to me its better than any premixed kind i've tried and you can make it as strong or lite as you want.
