Just passed my 4th week stinky free with a 650 ego c twist,1000 c twist, 7 kanger T3S clearos and one Kanger Protank 2.

My problem was, for some reason, at work I was going through the 1000 mah and the 650 mah

So I did more research. I ended up getting the Vamo V3 and two IMR 18650's. I already had a charger because I'm a flashaholic and have flashlights that use 18650's. Only going to use the IMR's in the Vamo though. Also ordered two IMR 18350's.

WOW, this Vamo is huge and pretty crazy looking. Love it. Nice to know the ohms. One coil said 2.2 ohm yet it was 2.6. Works great with my T3S's and the PT2. Ah, vaping is so fun.

I remember receiving my first Vamo.

It is, indeed, a wonderful mod for the price.

Do the buttons lock on the V3? That was the only thing that annoyed me about the Vamo. I had it in my pocket one day, took it out, hit it, then tasted instant burnt electronics. It had jumped to 15 watts and I hit a 2.0 ohm carto on it. But that only led me to new muscle memory: to this day, before each and every hit, I automatically click the right button, then the left button before hitting the fire button. I can't not do it anymore. It's how I hit the Vamo each and every time. If people notice it, it tends to annoy them for some reason.

EDIT: Not each and every hit. Rather, only after I've set it down or not fired it recently.

If you were going through a 1000 mah and 650 mah ego at work, one 18350 won't get you very far. Most 18350 are rated in the 700 to 800 mah range. I would suggest that you invest in a plastic battery box, and carry at least one spare 18350 with you, two would insure that you always have power.

The plastic battery boxes are cheap, convenient and help to ensure that you batteries don't short out. You don't want hot pockets.

Congratulations on the month, and on getting your Vamo. A V2 Vamo was my first APV and I think it's a great mod. My V3, not so much, but this is about you, so I won't rain on the parade.

That I know, the V3 (I just checked mine) buttons do not lock, it has the same function, for all intents and purposes, as the V2.

TheSteve is right on about battery cases, there's been a rash of people posting on the forums over the last few weeks about having hard shorts caused by keys or coins.

You're gonna love that mod, but your other equipment is going to get jealous. :)

I echo the advice regarding carrying a spare 18350. The 650's have ridiculous capacity, but there's only so much chemical goo you can shove into a 18mm x 35mm cylinder.

A carrying case is a good idea, too. But I'm ghetto--I just use a ziplock bag. ;)

You will find out quick that the 18350s wont last long. Mine (efest brand I think?) lasts roughly 3/4 the day with my vaping habits (10-15 minutes per hour). Take two or three to work with you, if you can it would probably be a good idea to keep a twist as a backup or keep a charger at your desk.

I love the vamo, its nice when I rebuild my coils on my PT and davide so I know what ohms im running.

Last night I was outside at work in the car. One 2250 mah IMR 18650 lasted the whole night:) Tonight I'm stuck at the ER desk from Midnight to 4:00 AM with only a couple of breaks, then I can really get my vape on, lol. In stealth 18350 mode tonight with a backup 18350,18650,1000 ego, PT2 and 3 T3S clearos :).
