Got myself a Kanger Sub Tank & new Eleaf 50W

So I had the nautilus Mini with Eleaf 30W and was loving it. Today I decided to stop and grab some new liquid & came out with strawberry milkshake & a new Kanger Sub tank & Eleaf 50W because I started doing lung hits with my buddy's Eleaf 50W & Aspire Sub... Boy oh boy... This thing hits like a dream... Plus room to grow a little, after I finish moving I plan to start doing a little rebuilding here and there so that's my thoughts on Kangers sub tank.

What's your thoughts? Lol someone justify my new purchase because I'm feeling a little guilty. [emoji57]

I have the same set up and love it. I even vaped a strawberry milkshake on the 1.2 ohm coils. Take your time, get to know it and you'll love it.

Taking a flight back to MI tomorrow & figured to be on the safe side packed most of my (limited) juice into smaller bottles & put it in a baggie also taking my Aspire Nautilus Mini and the backup Kanger coil... Should be back on Saturday but driving 16 hours on caffeine & nicotine I'm sure I'll cruise right through the juice. But hopefully I don't go through any coils considering its brand new as of now & just installed a new coil on my Nautilus last night.

The Subtank will go through juice a little faster than the Nautilus... or even a lot faster. Have a safe journey.

@Sir2fyavlyNutz what watt are you vaping at? In the store on their demo unit I was at 25W now with my new tank I'm finding 12-15W to be a sweet spot

on the 1.2 I use 15 to 18. I started at 15, up it occasionally when I want a warmer vape. I also only do mouth to lung so I bought a smaller drip tip with a tighter draw. Vape for yourself, don't worry about what others do.

Oh I most defiantly vape for me, I just find it odd that on the demo unit the sweet spot was 20-25W but at home on a new tank it's 10-14W. Pretty new to vaping & i know lower ohms = faster heat up but both tanks had the same .6 ohm coils


Just like knowing a good, min/max range for this ohm coil, as the Nautilus Mini coils were 1.6

I can understand your transition--I was using the Nautilus Mini on a iStick 30W, too. Now, I'm using the Subtank Nano on the 30W, running the 0.5 coils at 25W, and I now find it difficult to go back to the Nautilus.

You will probably go up in wattage as the coil 'breaks in'. The subtank is an awesome little device, especially when you get around to using the RTA base. The nano doesn't have the rta, and you didn't say which subtank you got. The Plus and the MIni both have it...I love the mini.

Kanger Subtank is great. Don't get to attached to the Istick 50watt. Likely not last long if you do not have the first batch of them before the company split in two.

In the future I can see myself getting into dripping for different flavors quickly. So to do that I'll want to be up & going with RDA but until i get there learning on the Kanger will be very helpful.

10-14W is a bit low to me on a Subtank with a 0.5 ohm coil, but honestly, the 24 watts I use mine at doesn't really cut it for me, either. I need more like 50-55W on a .2 ohm coil.
