So I was really excited. Ive been off analogs for a week smoking disposable ecigs at 24mg.

read and read and read, and finally decided on the Ego-T for the ease. Got it from CigNot. Also got a 26 mg VG Cappuccino from her, and a 25mg Tobacco #1 (which had great light and creamy reviews from the samples pages)

Problem? EVERYTHING tastes and smells the same and its like burnt sugar - giving me a major headache

Kit came with 5 pre-filled 18mg Mrlboro tanks (blue) and 2 additional empty clear tanks. EVERYTHING tastes nasty and gives me an instant headache. Have 2 FSUSA flavors as well both VG oRYental with a splash of cookie and Desert Ship with a splash of vienna cream (I havent tried this yet.)

I blew out the attys from battery side, Ive tried sucking without pressing battery to prime them better with juice, primed with a couple drops from battery side and blew it threw....nothing is making this smell / taste go away.

Now I keep getting wafts of CLOROX ish - seriously giving me a migraine.

What Im hoping someone will tell me is what other options do I have with these ego batteries that I can swap out for the tank attys? Maybe the juices need to sit, maybe Im being challenged with the tanks, but since I have no other options than these juices and Im a sad panda.

Id like to try to do some fiddling with it without having to resort to a pack of analogs... so what can I look for that might help in the interim ?

i have been vaping for 3 years, for the past almost year its been an eGo with mega carts/attys. i bought a tank atty/carts last month, and the atomizer has died (from a good vendor) and all the juices (and i have MANY) tasted bland, tasteless, subdued, muted EXCEPT very very strong ones e.g. atomic cinnacide, fire and ice, black licorice.
i do like the "concept", but i vape too heavily for those small carts anyway, so i think i am going to buy the GO-GO or MAP tank.

Now, your T-atty will get better with each tank once you get the primer cleaned out as suggested by previous poster.
You can always use your batteries with any 510 atty/cart or mega atty/cart AND once you get over the beginning stage with T, you are going to love how easy it is.
Other ECFers have stated that they get the best vape using 80pg/20vg juice and avoiding the dark juices which seem to gum up the T-atty.
I have been vaping mine practically non-stop for over a week now and it is GREAT!!!!!

I see this all the time, and I have to say I don't really agree. I vape some very dark juices out of my Ego-T with no problems. Current juice is a blend of Dark Tobacco, Chocolate, Mint and Menthol. I do use my attys in rotation, and I rinse the dirty one out with hot water every time I rotate. I did this with my old 510 and had my first atty die after over a year of use. If they get really dirty I use ipa and let them dry completely.

Yeah, what she said.
My atty is getting better and better the longer I have it. 5+weeks on the TAWA atty, all it do is blow it out... well 3 times now.

I've been sitting around all morning with LR attys, LR cartos, and I'm just not as happy with them. Slightly more flavor. I dunno about TH, I've never paid attention to it. It could be that since I've had an ego-T (literally) around my neck 24/7 except for showers, vaping constantly- that I just don't like the different experiences of the cartos & atty/drip. So I'm thinking I understand why people who usually drip or use carto's don't like to switch over to the T-tank system- its different!

I've been using 50pg/50vg blends, or 100pg, because that's what I've got.

And I'm thinkin' everyone should stay away from dark colored juices. I've been vaping them off of foil to check residues, and I'm finding some frightening things.

Have been vaping for over a year, and I love the eGo and Tornado tanks. Have had no problems with them.

I must agree but, I'm a total newbie. I started with Freedom Smokeless. They sucked but. it was enough for me to see the potential. Then I got to reading on here and found out about the eGo-T. They are great provided you don't make the first newbie mistake I made. You have to really press the tank into the atomizer to pierce it. It'll snap when you do it right. Until you do that, all you are going to get is primer, whatever you drip in there yourself and burnt stuff. It took me two days to figure that one out. I know I'm dense. :)

The second thing that you need to know about is that there's a video out there for adjusting the wick on these things. If you have a leaker or your vapor seems dry, you need to know about it.

Here's a how-to video on the eGo-T
Here's a video on adjusting the wick

There's another video that shows how to get the plate and piercing doodad out but, I can't find it right now. I just used a safety pin with a bent end and hooked it.

Well I blew $25 on the tank a couple of weeks ago. I suspect they are OK for those using cartridges or cartomizers. I started dripping about three months ago and frankly no other way works for me nearly as well. Going on a road trip in three months and will drip using a couple of EGO's - should last an hour or so before I have to stop and refill. OTH, used to have to stop every hour for a smoke, so no big deal.

It might be that you aren't wicking the 100%VG, and are mostly getting burnt atty taste, I have a VERY hard time getting 50/50 to work in one, just a thought, I have noticed a DRAMATIC drop in flavor in my tanks, but my wifes isn't as bad as mine. I also go through 6-10 carts in it a day, so mine get a 3 times the use hers does everyday. Try thinning out the juice and try again. I absolutely LOVE my tank set up!

It took forever to blow out the primer from my ego tank atty, over an hour of blowing through until there was no primer smell and wiping out out with a paper towel. I also twist my tanks a couple of times after I put them in to make sure the plastic chad it out of the way and not gonna get burned. I never needed to wash or soak in alcohol, just time to blow it out properly. I also found that the prefilled tanks and carts are horrible, you should try filling your own. Hope this helps you! :)

Well to answer your question...

With the Ego batteries, you can use:
mega ego cartos (I love these)
Ego atty and cart
(and Riva and Tornado brands)
510 atty and cart
510 cartos (many variations)
CE2 .. the clearomizers and regular versions
306 atty and cart
(and blu and volcano attys)
306 cartos

Now, all of those will fit on your Ego batteries without any adapters.. HOWEVER, you can use an adapter (510 fitting) and use the 801 varieties and the 901 sizes.. as well as most others. Example: 510>901, 510>801, etc

HTH!
