Just got my Vamo: came with the chrome Vamo (with the bigger gold spring in the battery cap), two ce4 style clearomizers (oh well, use those on my eGo batteries, never can have enough of them), two 900mah IRC18350 batteries (not optimal, I know), and battery charger. Packaged as an eGo Vamo APV gift set.

I popped one battery in, it was at 3.9 volts, so I threw a ce4 with some 555 in it and took a few hits: nice!

This Vamo does remember the wattage setting after a battery pull, and didn't have any issues at 6.0 watts, so I hope I'm good to go.

I'll grab a 510 - eGo adapter after work so I can put my T3s on it.

I'm pretty happy! :)

Nice on the upgrade!
:)

Remember to set it to RMS (the No2 setting, not No1).....Its much more accurate regulating and distributing voltage tuned to RMS (No2) rather then AVG (No1)

Got my Vamo about 3 weeks and mine will take the kanger t3s and evods. They must have upgraded it. I have been rocking my aga t2 on it this week but last night I built a 1.2 ohm coil and it wouldn't fire so I had to take the kick outa my bolt and take the extension sleeve off so I could use my mech in 18490 mode so I could vape my aga. I love the vamo it hits really hard when you have 2 18350s stacked. I made sure to get aw imrs high drain batteries. When I am using the aga on it (provided I have wrapped a coil with a little higher resistance) I run it with one 18350 in shorty mode. Otherwise it is just too heavy and tall. My vamo is awesome...but I still love my mechs! ECF ROCKS!!

Nice. I ordered a SS Vamo, batteries, and charger from 3 different sites. I received a package today and of course it was the batteries. Patiently waiting for the rest.

Congrats on the new toy.

Isn't that the way it goes? I have ordered 2 more stainless Vamo's from VB and batteries and new charger from FT, of course the batteries are going to get here first.......

Enjoy your new toy SK8, keep playing with wattage, it's soooo addicting but you can't go back...

The Vamo is at the house and I am at work steelshoe, but it seemed to me that the 510 connector was raised when I was putting the clearomizer on it. I didn't notice any air path cutouts on the Vamo itself.

I was surprised at the size of the Vamo; I expected it to be big and heavy but it wasn't as big or heavy as I expected. It feels great in the hand in both shorty and regular configuration. I would have no problem putting it in my pocket in shorty mode and bringing it to work or taking it with me on the golf course.

I'm definitely going to try out the protank murphyramone. Trying all of the different pieces is just an (expensive) part of the fun. :)

I'm digging my Vamo with Protank. :D
