I am still some what new to the forum and vaping. I have been vaping for a little over 2 weeks. I started off with a simple eGo fixed voltage battery, but over the weekend, I dropped my setup and the battery was toast. I went to my local vape store and bought a vamo v2 kit because it only made sense to spend $50 on the vamo kit rather than spending $35 on a eGo twist.

The kit came with 2 18350 900maH batteries. I notice the batteries last a lil over 8 hours. I am in the market for a few extra batteries. Which brings me to my questions, Which batteries should I look into? Where is a good place to purchase them? And, will the type of charger I have make a difference in how long the battery will last on my vamo?

I want to stick with the 18350's because I like the vamo without the tube extention. It is just too long and heavy with bigger batteries. With that, I thank everyone in advance for input.

On a side note, I usually turn the vamo off in between toots.

I use 18350 batteries in my Mini Provari, Ovale V8, and Smoktech Gripper. I purchase all of my batteries from RTD Vapor, and I almost always get AW brand in the IMR class. Batteries : AW IMR 18350 3.7V 700mAh

They offer EFests with a slightly higher mAh and for a cheaper price. I broke my own rule and purchased a couple of these about a month ago and one of them has died already. Lesson learned. I've never had any issue with an AW battery, and I have a few AW 18650 batteries that are a year old and still going strong.

The top of the line battery chargers claim that their logrhythmic charging cycles can prolong the life of batteries. I bought a Pila charger a year ago when I got my first mods and have absolutely no regrets for the extra expense. I can't say whether the Pila has actually prolonged the life of my batteries, but as I said I have some a year old and still going strong. The Pila charges my batteries faster than my backup Xtar charger does. Battery Chargers : Pila IBC Charger

There really isn't many good options for 18650. Like the previous post stated you can get Efest at a good price and they perform well but will die much faster than aw. They do cost more but in the long run you end up saving money. They also last longer than the Efest even though the Efest says it has more mah. There are more options for quality with 18650. I understand why you don't want to go that route thoug . The vamo is huge with them.

I use the Efest 18350 800mAh ones. On my mech mods. And I've no issues, they last well. As the others have correctly opined - with 18350s we don't have much choice... it'd be either AW or Efest.

Ps.: I initially started with Trustfire 18350 'Protected' ones. Didn't find anything wrong with them either, just that they do not 'fit' some of my mods. And the Efests last tad longer!

When I purchased my Vamo Kit it came with an Efest BIO Charger and a pair of Efest 18350 800mah batteries. I have had no problems what so ever with them, and have been perfectly happy with the performance. Granted I've only been using them for about a month (very heavily I may add). After my purchase I continued to read up and research and it sounds like the AW's are better batteries for both performance and longetivity. The price difference isn't that great between the two brands, and when I do buy more batteries I plan on purchasing some AW's to see for myself and compare to the Efest's. RTD Vapor seems to have the best prices and be THE place to buy batteries.
