got the vaporking and have a ? on cartomizer

got the ultimate kit from v4l and very impressed with products and customer support

i have had a cold now since the package came 2 days ago, nose stuffed up etc.. so i tried the vaping and it seemed to really irritate my throat probably guessing because of my cold..

so i have not been vaping for atleast a day... question will the cartomizers dry out if you dont use them in a certain time frame... the battery is still good just took a vape

when i vaped i only puffed on it like twice at a time, how many times does the average person take a puff on these??

total i have only hit the vaporking maybe 10 times so i was wondering how many times you can puff on the cartomizers....

not sure if these are dumb questions or not

On my 89mm It has a cartomizer too. The claim by Knight Sticks was 1 cart was = to 2 packs of ciggs. Not true. Closer to one pack. I get lots of vapor and I've come to my conclusion on Thar fact I smoke 1 pack of ciggs per day and the cart will last me a day before the flavor starts to diminish. On day two with the same cartomizer the stuffing starts to burn. Not a tasty treat. Besides the fact I'm not trying to use my cartomizers to the very end. I Want to reload them and save this e-cigarette as a back up. On day 1 I 'm sorry, I didn't count the number of puffs because every puff produced a good quantity of vapor and good quality in flavor

I'm having the exact same experience as you are boston. When I took my first hit, it was insanely irritating on my throat, but like a few people in my thread stated - you do get used to it after a few hours, or even a day. Last night it wasn't as irritating anymore and even this morning it feels fine. So the fact that you're sick may be the problem because I know when I would get sick, even analogs would tear my throat up.

As for all of your other questions, I honestly couldn't answer them if I tried.. I haven't been vaping long at all to be able to compare it to regular cigarettes yet (not even a full day vaping for me).

The carts are about 3/4 to a pack of smokes. A typical smoke is 13 to 15 drags. 20 smokes * 15 drags= about 300 puffs. Keep in mind how long you draw for one of my draws from my VK lasts longer than 2 drags on a cig. So I get about 100 to 150 draws. the carts last me a day to a day and a half. The booklet says they can dry out. I don't know cause I smoke em all before I even get close, I would suggest putting the condoms back on it when you are done. After 1 day of vaping my throat did not bother me anymore I think it was an adjustment period just like when I started smoking. Hope this helps.

Keep the caps on if your not going to use them for a few days,but I dont cover them when Im using it that day.They last differently for everyone.It depends how you vape.I top one off several times and it lasts me a day or 2.

Do cartomizers have a prefilled cart plus atomizer? Are these intended to throw away after you get all of the eliquid out of the cart? If I used one of the a day they cost 8.95 this would be very expensive. Do most people refill these if you do how long does the atomizers usually last on these things.

Nevermine I noticed there are 5 for 8.95. Will one last all day if I vape 36mg and I use to smoke 3 packs a day.

I get the cartos plus matching 5ml of liquid in 36 add flavorless to get 24,then I top them off for a day or 2. Or you can refill them.

yeah thanks for the input guys and gals,

i thought i read you will feel it on your throat the first day or two. i think in my case the head cold and trying to vape for the first time was not the right move...


for the cartomizers i am reading that you can fill them 5 or 10 times and then chuck them, so if you get 5 cartomizers for $10 blank or flavored seems alot better then $55 a carton/week (not sure if there are cheaper deals out there on the cartomizers yet if anyone knows please let me know but with the customer service from vapor4life i will be sticking with)

back to the puffs, when i pick the personal vapor (pv) up i may puff on maybe twice and put it back down, do you guys do the same or more ...

my situation sucks because i have this dam cold, i really dont want to irritate my throat anymore but want to puff on the pv rather then u.s.a. lights but it seems like the pv irritates more....

for example so i ordered the coffee sampler of cartomizers and also coffee juice... vapor4life sent me samples of fruit like pineapple and peach can i take my coffee juice and refill the pineapple and peach flavored cartomizers with the coffee or will end up with some garbage flavored cartomizer, similar to the taste of a normal cigarette

You can rinse them out under warm tap water and blow through the mouth end several times.Oh yeah,take the cap and o ring out first.Then they should be dry enough to refill.

Yeah, I take a puff or two, then sit and twiddle with the pv, put it down, pick it up, chew on the end, take a pull without hitting the button (mine are all manual), then take a real puff.... heh.

Never really took more than 10 drags from a real cigarette at any one go either...so this is a much better solution for the wallet since I'm not "wasting" anything if I don't puff puff puff away.

As for the sore throat - make sure you're drinking plenty of water! You should be upping your water intake because of the cold anyway.
