Ever had a day where everything tasted awful, blew up everything you touched and just gave up?

Well that was my day pretty much.

Started with one of my beloved Cisco 306's passing quietly away after 2 months service. No problem thought I that is why I have a atty rotation so got the other 306. All good.....for 45 seconds.

That died. Now I can take a hint so put a Boge on my Reo. I have been loving Bounty Hunter at 4.8 volts with Boges so out came the battery.

Yeah recently went to Kansas and some how managed to forget to charge them.

Now I am picky with my combinations and at 3.7 and Bounty Hunter it seems to work best with a Resurrector, without a 306. So go for a.........empty box.

All isn't lost swap the bottle in the Reo and about now it is time to see the youngest bonus son in the final of a succer sorry soccer tournament so leave the house. Now there are many admirable.things about the Reo one of which is that the bottles that feed them are used by many vendors so I have plenty of spares.

One of the aforementioned spare bottles contains my first attempt at DIY. I managed to create with the fantastic feature of never ending! The reason it would never ever end is that it is absolutely awful. Memo to self throw such substances out.

By this time I was in the car heading to the field.

Oh well how bad can this be?

Very was the answer. All good being smarter than the average bear I had grabbed a ProVari with a tank on and juice. Even put on a fresh battery. Have to get up pretty early to catch me out.

I would like to think. Practice however was showing the gremlins were up bloody early.

Dead 18490. Have an 18650 extension that I keep in the car just in case as I always have an 18650 based mod with me. Of course I was in the wifes car so no passthrough either.

Suck it up and vape the DIY for a couple of hours then home to sort things out.

I really do not know how I created such a nauseous substance but after an hour I was done.

This is where the upside of the days comes in. The wife still smokes and she had just lit up a cig so I did the decent thing and stole it.

Have to say after a drag I was grabbing the Reo happily lol

The cig was just bluchhhh.

Of course the game was interrupted by rain for an hour. Went to extra time and my step sons team lost on penalties.

On the way back I noticed juice on my hand. Tube was leaking on the Reo. Got back and found the neoprene perished so off to Lowes for replacement. This led to a round of store visits.

Eventually got home and at last replaced the battery in the ProVari and vapes my face off. Yes the 18490 had died.

Hope tomorrow is better for me and your day was better than mine!

Heading to bed early I think.

Yeah, I've had those days, not with quite as many problems as you had, but still, awful. Some days no matter which PV I use or how many fresh cartomizers I use, I can't get the juice to taste right. I'm sure it's me, not the juice, but it's frustrating.

You had back-ups for your back-ups to your back-ups and it still didn't work out. The vaping gods were not smiling on you this day.

I'm sure they will be grinning from ear to ear tomorrow, though.

I haven't had a day like that but I fear I will sometime. I guess that's why I'm so .... about having backups ready to go and staged everywhere. I liked the Epower I got from CCV so much I bought another kit from them and I have a half-dozen 14650s and 2 spare chargers arriving this week. My daily work carry is still an eGo 650 but I always have the Epower (or the Lavatube clone) with me in the truck. I keep small bottles of juice with me (and in the truck) as well as spare cartos and anything else that could malfunction.

I've read a ton of threads here about folks going back to analogs when their equipment failed or they ran out of supplies and I plain refuse to allow that to happen to me...

It was one of those days. Have had a couple of them hence having 2 PV's with me.

If I had of had my car there is a passthrough permanently in there.

While yesterday wasn't pleasant it was nothing like as unpleasant as the day I had my 2 Ego battery stop working on the same day.

That is why I have 2 ProVari's and 2 18650 bottom feeders.

guh. i'm sorry to hear all that. i used to have days like those when i was still on the ego-t and a variety of clearomizers. even some cartomizer days have been depressing and long when i've been unable to top off. never have i experienced a frustrating day like that with my current setup.
here's to today being a better vaping day!

All over the place
I never quite had a day like that, but I have had those "what else can go wrong" days! A lot of vapers wouldn't conceive of doing what I did to remedy my issues, but I decided I need to downsize and consolidate. I have, maybe 5 juices in rotation at any given time, and am down to 2 PVs (and of course one that stays handy and charged). When I had 7 ecigs/PVs and corresponding chargers, cartos, ce2's, attys, bottles and batteries, I began getting a little crazy! I am not the most hyper-organized person when it comes to things. But, there is always a solution of sorts to a given problem, and it is worth it to figure out.

Here's to tomorrow being better than today!!!:toast:

Have had those days...two of them to be precise...my sympathies.

If it makes you feel any better one of mine included a reaction and a burn that were a bit tough to explain when a little sister type mod switch failed to 'on' in my pocket....while sitting in public...pants pocket...front pants pocket!

Hoping today is back to vaping bliss for you!

To be fair it is bliss the vast majority of the time now I have stable equipment.

That is why yesterday was a shocker lol

Thought I was happily in just roll mode but lifestyle curve balls got in the way.

Far too paranoid to reduce equipment but reached the point where I have no need to buy something unless I see an absolute benefit.

Yep today has been a good day. Even been vaping a DIY along with NLV and it tastes pretty good. Not as good as NLV but not bad.
