I would generally agree with keep it simple, however I just converted a new vaper who tried several of my PV's and chose to START with VV....I personally find on the clearo's at GV sells I am more often dialing it DOWN than up, but I still like being able to "tweak" the voltage. But I've been vaping a long time.

Personally I don't find turning up or down the voltage/wattage on a PV any more technically challenging than turning up or down the volume on the stereo or a TV...

Where I believe any confusion exists is in the variety of juices ( and their strengths and mix ratios ), different atty/carto/clearo/tanks, as well as the different types of threading found on the various PV's.... Changing the voltage/wattage and understanding what can happen is a piece of cake compared to the rest of the choices available.

We will definitely consider a new vaper's kit for the twist but if you guys saw the emails and tickets we get, there was just a need to make this as simple as possible at first. We want them to have a good grasp of what turning up voltage can do to their vaping experience, encouraging them to buy the kit then come to our forum to read posts and 'learn up'. So the kit is paired with a 3.3v battery and low ohm stardust that we know for certain will give them out-of-the-box good experience, that gets them started, then they can learn about what higher voltage can do and what atty ohmages are best to pair with, etc. and maybe purchase the Twist or some other some-such as they break themselves in...

Also the ego-t batts are extremely reliable, all Joyetech products are but on the Twist, because of the more sophisticated electronics, we are seeing a higher failure rate (still not horrible) and I don't want a new vaper to, perchance, to have to possibly deal with that.

I spent 150 bucks on my first kit from Green Smoke, that was basically proprietary 180mah stick style batts and a meager amount of pre-filled cartos. My eyes would have bugged out to have a setup like this. I wound up giving that kit away in about a month...

I think this is a nice start up kit Danno. If I had something like this as my first kit, I wouldn't have wasted so much money on all the other crap I did trying to find what would work best for me :)

Maybe what I can do is offer an option (for an extra charge) to switch out the batts for Twists (but again I have to state it in such a way there is no confusion)...I can see for people such as yourself guiding someone personally where you would like to refer them to a new vaper's kit with the Twist in it, especially if you have given them a personal demo as you did...

Danno... I have a couple of friends that are wanting to get a startup kit. Your kit is probably perfect for them, but I have one concern. They were both smoking full flavor cigs....and I don't think 12mg juice is going to work for them. I smoked ultralights, so was able to start with 18mg, and then drop to 12mg after just a few weeks. For the new folks tho, especially those who were doing full flavor, I just don't think 12mg is going to be enough to get them off the analogs.

I totally agree with this. Maybe an option of 12 or 24? I know you want to keep it simple Danno, but most of the converts I have had (about a dozen confirmed) have had to start at 24.

I appreciate that feedback...the optional sampler we have to keep at 12mg as they are all pre-mixed ahead of time for the week to make for ease of fulfilling all sampler orders. Maybe what I can do is make the Tobacco one a higher nic...
