I placed an order with Gourmet Vapor at the tail end of their 50% off sale, and it arrived today - exactly two weeks after I placed my order.
My review, answering the complaints that I have read during the past week or so:
Don't you think two weeks is a long time? My initial expectation was a week-and-a-half due to having such a large sale. Just think of what the next four weeks are going to be like in brick and mortar stores, and how much more intolerable it will become as those days dwindle down.
So what about that extra half-week? That extra half-week means that, despite having 500% more orders than they had expected, the product I received was immaculate. The bottles and baggies were sealed properly; the bubble wrap was wrapped nicely and taped securely; the labels were not smudged or crooked; there was not a stray drop of juice anywhere in my package; and the business card inside did not even have a crease.
But, isn't that kind of quality to be expected from any business? Well, yes, but how many times have you gotten fast food during their "lunch rush", only to find your meat patty hanging half off of the bun, or the cheese piled in the wrapper outside of the taco? So many places sacrifice quality in order to provide quantity and speed. But not Gourmet Vapor, they managed to maintain high quality through their "lunch rush".
OK, it looked good, but does it taste good? I mean, the juice has to steep now, so you have to wait for another week or two before you can use it, right? Not necessarily so. I sampled some of the juices and I can tell you one of the juices left my mouth believing that I had actually taken a shot of whiskey. If it gets better from there, I might just pass out on the floor from believing I have had too many! Besides, if I don't understand how e-juice works, then I still have a little more to learn about why custom juice is better than pre-filled carts/cartos.
Weren't you worried about your order? Yes. I wondered what their terminology meant, and may have overreacted. I guess that is partly my fault for trying a new company, during a giant sale, when I knew that they would be swamped. I contacted them and received an answer back after a few days, and after hearing Todd explain how many orders came in, it made sense why. I mean, can we really compare them to Amazon's 10,000 plus employees? How long does it take to fill 3,000 bottles of juice?
Will you ever order from them again? Undoubtedly. You may even see one of my creations on there. I have a favorite froo-froo drink that would be an exceptional vape, and I know that I can rely on them to produce it properly for me!
Even if it takes two weeks? Yes. Even three.
Don't you have any complaints? Not really any complaints, but I would suggest child safety containers and a more informative communication system for future giant sales.
In conclusion, I would like to thank Gourmet Vapor for having a great sale and producing quality juice, and I will be asking you to put a dozen or so business cards in my next order.
Long winded, I know. Just my two cents.
