Gourmet Vapors RY4

Getting up a order. Looking for feedback on their RY4. Also trying to decide on normal or double flavor. I like more flavor with the clearer liquids like coconut or melon types. Coffee flavors seem to be ok from what I've had in the past from other vendors. I've never purchased from gourmet before. Looking for some advice

I Purchased ry4 from them and I like it, you can taste more of the Carmel & Bavarian cream than the tobacco though.

I have a bottle of Gourmet Vapor Ry4 50/50 double in 12 mg.

Not a huge fan of GV in general because their base flavor bugs me a bit, but of the ones I have RY4 is my favorite but prefer VR4 from Vaperite. I'll eventually finish it, but wouldn't order it again.

If you are vaping in an ego-tank or get high VG, doubling is good if you want max flavor.

Don't buy Maiden coffee as a double unless you like dark burnt coffee X2.

How does the base bug you? I've tried GV. Id sure hate to order a bunch of juice that I don't care for. Vaperites organic VR4 is fantastic.

Really hate to say anything because taste is so subjective. It just has a sweet medicine/liquor undertone that I'm not in love with. It's not the horrible I'd never vape it extreme, just not to my taste. I have Kereoke Coffee, Maiden Coffee, Fine Tobacco, Maxborro, 420!, and RY4. Most I got in double flavor because it was recommended on the forum at the time. RY4 is the best but I can taste that base in all of them. 420! and Maiden Coffee I will probably never vape. The rest I would in a pinch and the RY4 and Keroke I sometimes choose, but not often. Maybe double flavor is exaggerating that flavor, but not a huge fan compared to BWB or Vaperite selections.

Your correct everyones tastes are so differant. What 1 person likes another might not. All you can give is your honest opinion. What I'll do is order double flavors that I'll use in my tank system. The tank system is light on the flavor vs cartoz for some reason.

It's that plastic whistle tip on the tank, because I get decent flavor from dripping directly in my ego-t attys with no needleplate and drip tip.

I love Gourmet Vapor and many on this forum do too. It is true taste is subjective. GV always freshly mixes their juices so - they really need about a week to sit before you can really enjoy the flavor they intended. I used to buy double flavor because I do love my flavor - but now I get triple flavor at 36mg and cut it in half with vg and pg and stretch that $ !

I recently got some RY4 from them and, while it didn't taste too bad, the aroma of the vapor reminded me of a mix of honeysuckle and hobo urine... lol. I gave it to a friend who likes hobos.

It seems like there are quite a few new to Gourmet Vapor people in here, so I thought I'd also add that there are more than one RY4 mix on there, and most of their flavors are made be customers who may or may not have tested the flavor yet.

I love their stuff and have some flavors that I order regularly, but just take a little knowledge when you go there for the first time.

absolutely! I have also tried their DaVa, Mimosa, 555, Marlboro Red, Marlboro Light and Full Flavor Tobacco. The Marlboro Red is the only thing my wife likes (it's almost gone, just ordered 30 ml more yesterday) and the DaVa (american/turkish blend with notes of coffee and hazelnut) and Full Flavor are gone too. Mimosa is an awesome orange flavor and the 555 isn't bad either.

I got the exact blend and nic level and I too enjoyed it fresh out of the box. But, 24MG is a little beast for me. I'll hit up the Chocolate mint 24MG when I am REALLY craving some nic.

I really enjoyed their RY4. Have a 30 ml bottle and will def. order more! vape it mostly during the day at 24 mg.

I love ry4. A few years ago you could get excellent RY4 from China. The bad thing was you never knew if it would be a good batch or bad batch. The good was great!!! I have not bought from Gourmet, because I don't believe they make a 36 mg juice. I'll have to check them out again to make sure. I have been really getting into FSUSA'S RY4 in 36 mg. Nice blend of earthy tobacco with a slight sweet Caramel/ Vanilla on exhale. Dxcellent vapor, Not real sweet. Good stuff if you like ry4.

Thanks dave --nice axe BTW. I need to try FSUSA's juices again...I got a bunch of sample sizes from them that were positively vile...still letting them air out to see if they improve.

I received my shipment today. The ry4 was not very good out of the box. The flavor is really hard to explain, not like any RY4 I've tasted. Not much flavor at all and I ordered double flavor, so I could use in my Ego tank system. I only hope it gets better after 7-10 days of steeping. I also received the Seattle Blend, normal flavor. This also was not good either. Maybe they will get better as they age.
