Some flavors will smell perfumy and taste it too, from any supplier. Others will settle down with a little steeping time. But I've never gotten a juice from Gourmet Vapor that was off or bad.

Mixing flavors is an art, just like mixing drinks or cooking. Sometimes we just get lucky, and other times it's god-awful! Many of the juices at GV are created by customers, and there's no accounting for taste. Or maybe somebody mixed up something that sounded good but tasted awful, and it's still lurking there in the GV flavor list.

I've also seen bottles that looked shy of the top, but the measure is usually pretty accurate. All in all, GV is my favorite juice supplier.

I placed an order with them for my mother and I. So far Ive tried the following-

andes mint- Good but not quite as tastey as nicvapes Jr mints daddy
Watermelon sour patch kids- Awesome taste pretty dead on to a watermelon jolly rancher with a bit more tartness
dr pepper- Not good so far, just tastes like a fermented plum. But Im holding out and letting it steep awhile before passing judgment
420 pineapple express- not a fan but if you REALLY liked pineapple it might be vapable

I also have -
tastey menthol cigarette-havent tried yet, and got a few other juices for my mother but havent delivered them to her so they havent been trid out yet.

I bought some 5ml samples a couple weeks ago and I had none that were perfumey/chemically. I also left them sit with the lid off for 24 hrs, then let them steep for 5 days. All of them were 80pg/20vg, normal flavor, @ 12mg.
My review of the flavors I got:
Wintermint - I love this one, great flavor very similar to Orbit wintermint gum - a new favorite
Keoke Coffee - I love this one too, strong coffee flavor with just a hint of cocoa and not sweet - another new favorite
Mt Dew - Ok, citrus taste but it's not Mt Dew.
Tiramisu - Ok, good coffee taste with something else going on.
Cinnamon Mocha Coffee - Ok, another decent coffee taste with other stuff happening.
Cinnamon Clove Dream - Blech (the clove gives it a burning tumbleweed taste)

I ordered more of the first 2 and a few other flavors during the weekend sale...looking forward to my 2 new favorites and trying some other new ones.

I just placed my first order with them, then found this thread lol. Just a few small bottles to try them out. I searched this site but couldn't find a discount code. Anybody know about one? They've sure got an impressive website and a really long list of flavors, some I haven't seen anywhere else. I'm glad I read about the bottle size or I'd have thought I'd been ripped off.

Hi everyone, couldn't edit, but wanted to follow up on the issues w/ the GV juice order. I contacted GV to let them know about my first experience w/ their juices, figuring something must have gone very wrong w/ that first batch. I asked if it was the norm for the juices to taste so intensely perfumey, "chemically". They said it sounds like some ingredient must have been accidentally left out, and maybe the bottle was pure flavoring? They offered to resend the order or give a refund. I figured, I would give them another shot...the second batch came in and was much much better and not perfumey this time around. Cindy at GV was very receptive, professional, and totally willing to make things right.

They definitely earned my respect as a customer, and I have to let everyone know...whether I love their juice or not, they definitely stand behind their product.

I got a sampler order from GV today...but have to say they all smell and taste like flavored nail polish remover/acetone to me??? Has anyone else experienced this?

I have juices from lots of vendors, and never smelled/tasted anything like this, so not sure if it's the flavorings used or the base...hoping it'll get better w/ some time. Will steeping remove the harsh chemical smell/taste? Knowing there are lots of GV fans out there gives me a little hope the juices will blossom into something vapeable with time.

Another thing is that the samples were supposed to be 5ml's each, but the 6ml bottles they came in were only 1/2 full. Pretty disappointed with these right now.

I would say they have great customer service. This was like the 3rd or 4th time I ordered from them. When I opened my package I was at great disappointment. The bottles didn't have the flavor name on it, but had the flavor ID on it. One of the bottles leaked in the ziplock bag that came w/ the other bottles, too. So all the bottles was wet, I had to wash them out, and replace label on them. It was Tuesday midnite when I email GV telling them of the problem. The next day Cindy email me back saying they will remake my order. I wasn't really complaining on my email, just wanted to let them know what have happen, because I know I like there juice and will order for sure again, just wanted them to be careful next time. So they resent my order on Wednesday and I rec'd it on Friday. That was super fast. I didn't see the package yet, my boyfriend has it. But he told me it arrived. So I really think that was nice of them to resent my order for me. Great customer service there!!

I ordered 10 new flavors to try out as well. I tried a couple of then right off the bat and neither one tasted good. I let them all sit for a week, then pulled them back out and tried a"smell test". Of the 10, I was only able to correctly identify 2 by aroma. None of these were custom flavors, just standards like blueberry, butterscotch, coffee cream, etc... I've put them all away again and will try the smell test again in a few days. Overall, I'm not too impressed. I think the vendor I ordered from before wasn't making his own, but rather ordering stuff from China and re-labeling it. That helped his juice to seem pre-steeped. I just chalk it all up to the learning curve with something new. I now know to order juice 2-4 weeks before I want to vape it. Especially if it's fresh-made.
