Kiss the hope of e cig good bye... I like it when they said increase 10% to stop people from smoking but decided to ban e cig instead.
If you consider the fact that they raised the tax to raise more money, then it just means that the changes of ecig getting legalized just plunged even lower.

10% is nothing really. Price change will be minimal and people will keep buying. This is what they have been doing anyway, increase little bit at a time so everyone wont really feel the pinch. If gov really want people to stop smoking then do the australian way, increase from $10 -> $17 which surely will shock most people and most will just stop for good.

We are far from ecig legalization. 2 main reasons.
1. Ecig not fda approve. Content and manufacturing not up to standards
2. The country care for citizens. Juveniles will have access to ecig.
Blah blah blah, my ...!
Even if it's FDA approved and the manufacturing is being regulated.. I feel it will still be a far-fetch idea that it will be legalised here
Just saw in another thread, Fox News was talking about ecig. NY and Chicago are still banning the ecig at the moment. Sometimes I wonder if this is just a game for the GAHMEN to play with while they are unsure of the long-term implications on the tobacco economy and taxes.
This tax increase will make cigarettes more expensive. I think there will be more people turning to pre taxed contraband cigarettes.
Enforcement to fine those smoking contraband would probably be stepped up.
Just be cautious when vaping to avoid being a victim of this operation.

well, i am glad that i've made the change, and it is by chance that i got stuck to vaping and quit smoking soon after .
it is because of the high cost of cigarettes that made me to look for an alternative, and keep trying new attys and juices to keep away from cigarettes.
some of my peers went back to smoking after trying out e cigs. i wish them good luck.
legislation or not, even after packages seized by the miw, im still still here vaping .
its all about the money!!
