Grand and Dual Coils

Hi all,

I've been using the grand at 6V for the last 5 months-always with atties (510, 306, 801). I never even thought about a carto-as I felt it would defeat the purpose of the clean vape the grand can give with atties only.

I bought some dual coil 1.6 510s from ikv and tried it out on my 3.7 roughstack backup. I thought they were not as good, or as strong, and smoktechs DC 1.2 at 3.7V. So I decided to put it on the grand and give it a try.

Other than the fact that they add length to the grand, they are phenominal. Easy, no drip, tasty, great TH, and crazy vapor. I got dizzy at my normal 24mg-which is unheard of. I cut the juice to about 18-20 and it has the same effect with this set up (perhaps more vapor and better delivery). I just got some zero nic juice to cut other juices.

I may have change my mind about cartos.

While I can't comment on the Dual coil thing....at the urging of a few fellow REOnauti, I decided to give the carto thing a try again. I haven't used them since I got my first REO nearly a year ago. I HATED cartos and swore off of them once I got my hand on my first bottom fed mod. So I grabbed a 2.0Ω Boge Carto and stuck it on my Mini yesterday and I have been pleasantly surprised. I don't remember cartos being this good. Nice consistant hit, tons of vapor and decent flavor. I'm not getting rid of my LR306s as I'm happy with them...but this is a nice change up and something I can definitely use with my stronger flavors.

I bought a couple of Boge 2.0 Cartos a while back and had them at the bottom of the my PV stuff box--not to be confused with my Box of juice, or the box where I keep my PVs.

I finally put one on my Grand a couple of days ago, and it hasn't left since. In fact, I've ordered more. I'm getting great flavor, tons of vapor, and incredible consistency. They are really exceptional. I'll probably switch back to attys for some tobacco flavors, but right now I'm into AVE's Hype, and it's great in the carto.

I thought I was done with Cartos when I switched to the REO, but the last few days have changed my mind.

That's what I found out too. Didn't even think about cartos until I ordered my Volt kit. After that, I started using cartos on my REO. It's much more convenient on the REO since it doesn't require topping it off all the time. All it takes is a squonk and a draw and your good to go.

They are not my full time vape, but cartos are on one of my REOs full time
