this thing is still kicking out the vapor and flavor. doesn't spit unless I flood it, but I am getting better @ sqonking it. overall very pleased with this atty. so pleased that I have another on the way so that I can plug him up when this one (god forbid) dies. I really don't care to pay 20 bucks for an atty, as long as it will last me a while with proper care. each night I just drop it in my vodka filled ultrasonic and in the morning I run it once or twice depending on how much time I have left to get to work, and blow it out, prime it... wait ten minutes to vape. only one thing... soaking it in the vodka has loosened the red finish (I chose deep red) to the point that it started chipping, so from now on I will probably just get stainless steel. not a big deal although I really liked the red finish. I did not however buy this atty for aesthetics and it is serving its purpose well. it still looks better than the 306 lol. will repost when this ting dies

I agree that this is the best tasting atomizer on the market. The flavor and throat hit really are great. I have been using one for six weeks and still going strong. THAT IS THE GOOD.
NOW THE BAD:
It is a real PITA to use. I agree with Mudflap that if you keep a close eye on the resevoir and stop pushing as soon as you see the juice it works. However, if you have old eyes, as I do, or are in a dimly lit room or driving, or if for any reason you can not pay close attention IT FLOODS. When it floods there is no vaping through it as with most atomizers you must blow it out and start again unless you want a lot of hot juice in your mouth. If you get a dry hit it will blow out the back of your throat. I truly love the performance when it is right but its just too hard for me to use regularly. Understand, I am not a novice I have been vaping for 26 months and using REOs for 14 months and I have never had this problem with any other atty..

hmmm... I guess me and the hh357 were made for each other :) it's a fickle beast, I found a way to sqounk that works really well. I CAN squonk with a full bottle and be fine, but most of the time I only fill half of my bottle (grand). I find that really helps wth my squonking accuracy. sorry its a pita for ya :(

i m on the second day with the .357 1.5 long barrel. its been the best tasting atty i ve ever had. i have not had any splattering ,dry hits or flooding. i have had a full cup though.

reo mini blue/blue filled with ave hype.

flavor 10
TH 10
vapor 10

if i can get 5 weeks out of one to me its well worth the cost for the 100% increase in performance.

glad you are enjoying the setup. I don't think I could ever use another atty and be fully satisfied. will be stocking up on these when I have the cheddar... but if they last a long time I guess I wont have to. I already have a second one on the way and the next timeI will get a 2 ohm for sweet juices

How do these hold up for packrats? They're supposed to be kept moist at all times... I imagine that also means from receipt as it comes pre-primed with 50/50. How long will the primer last under normal storage conditions (toolbox in the closet)? I've been anxious to try them, they sound like the perfect hit, just as you guys have been saying, the perfect hard hit like we do a real cig under stress or at break time. So good to hear you all confirming this. But what about long term storage?

I have no idea of the storage, but I do know this.. it will be hard to unscrew it from your reo, not because it is physically difficult, but because you wont want any other atty. I imagine that they (if kept in the ziplock) would have a virtually endless shelf life but that is speculation. oh and yes it is primed with 50 50

I agree 100% with all the positives mentioned except for the lifespan. For that reason (and price) I won't buy anymore. Im willing to accept its might be my fault but Im far from being a novice with attys or REOs. I do hit long and hard tho. Im hoping for better luck with the io6s assuming I ever get a chance to buy one....till then I'll be happy with my Ciscos & Sweetvape attys.

Yep...the HH357's are about as good as it gets for atty's but not for the faint of heart. They need to be cleaned often, like every night if you are using darker juices like me. I definitely think the LR's are better than the 3 ohm version. Have a long barrel waiting for my Grand to arrive, I'm sure it will be amazing.

i wanted to try one of these hh357s, but they have some hybrid bottomfeeding ones on cov for 9 bucks instead of 21, has anyone tried both?

I have and they are really not even in the same ball park quality wise. They just both have hybrid in the name. If you go to my profile, there is a photo album showing the difference in the coil.

Vapage Hybrid, is China made with quality control problems. Wire is really thin and coil wraps the wick 3 times in a 1.5 atty, 4 times in a 2.0. Some people have reported coil not even wrapped around the wick, just sticking up. Apparently they aren't even doing a visual on them before shipping. When you get a good one, the 1.5 hit is nice, cooler and airier than a 306 1.5 LR, but nice and consistent. Unfortunately after about 4-5 days of heavy vaping when they get gunked up, they don't seem to recover from a cleaning. Not enough wire and too much loose wick floating around in there. So on the 3 I have used, I have to toss them in less than a week. I like them the first 4 days though.

HH357 : Hand made and tested-thus the price Super consistent hot and flavorful hit in my 1.5 versions (I've used 2) One going on 3 1/2 weeks one 5 days now, still performing fantastic. One spit for the first 24 hours but then fine, second one didn't at all. Must blow them out from the battery hole since they have some sort of vacumn. Aside from the fantastic flavor, I really love the fact they don't leak at all in my REO mini and Grand. No juice in the catch cup so I can store and tip while vaping without getting juice everywhere. $21 is pricey, but to me they are worth it.

Update: In the Vmod thread they are reporting that Vapage now has a scope to do a visual inspection before shipping, so that should help the QC problem.

I agree the HH.357 is waaaaaaaaay better then the hybrid. I hated the hybrid and tho I won't be buying anymore HHs there is no comparison imo.

well my 357 will hit the month mark on wednesday. still works like new (but stll doesn't spit) I have not taken ONE pull on another atty since screwing it on the first day. each night I soak it in vodka in my ultrasonic, and when the draw tightens up a bit I just hook it up to the steamer on my espresso machine for a minute.

Thats great news :) I predict mine will last a year or more because it sits in my drawer while I enjoy 3Ω cartos at 6v :D

Its nice to know that folks can get their money back out of them if they treat them right though.

The longs would help if you get one that spits during the break in period. They should be the same except the long barrel only comes as a 1.5 LR. I haven't tried the long barrel since I can put up with 24 hours of spitting not to have it be too long for the rest of it's life. If you like a long atty and 1.5, sounds like it would be a good fit for you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Love these HH357 attys.
