Ours start back Monday the 25th, so just a few more days. I am the opposite of you though. I am not looking forward to them being back in school. Once school starts back so does all the after-school stuff they are involved in. As if we are not already running the roads non stop now..lol
Ha! My wife and I were just thinking of that. Soccer starts next week for both of them, our daughter still has ballet and also wants to do tennis, and our son is continuing with swimming. But at least that leaves the morning free to get things done.

Luckily our oldest will be driving in a year or so. Once she is that will free my wife and I up a lot. While it seems like we are always on the go, like I said I would not trade it for the world. We have always tried to at least let both of our girls try any activity/sport the have wanted to. We figure the more different things they try the more likely they are to find the thing that they love doing and stick with it.

That's pretty much our philosophy. Scheduling is usually the biggest issue--for example, we had to sign up for ballet early because the program is the most competitive in town so if you don't keep your space, you lose it. But because she advanced in level, her new day became Thursday... which is also when her assigned soccer team was scheduled for practice. It took us a week to get her onto another team with a Monday practice.

Ahh yes I understand completely. If they only realized what we as parents have to go through sometimes in order for them to have and get the most out of ever opportunity.

And the running only increases once school starts due to the after school activities. Honestly I would not trade it for the world though!

New mod....it is not the sting ray clone unfortunately. I actually won a $20 gift certificate from a contest here on ECF. I am going to purchase the Sting ray from that vendor as soon as he has them back in stock. Just to test the water I got this Sigelei Bagua 18350. I can not say how good or bad it is because I have nothing to compare it to. I can say that my IGO-W4 hits much better on it then it does on the SVD or Provari. I can see enough of a difference that I am sure I will be adding a few mech mods to my gear. Unfortunately the will more than likely all be clones but it is what it is.

Oh congratulations! Free stuff is always awesome. I wish it had been the 18650 though for you. The 350 is cool though. Wait till you get it sub ohm on a killer high drain battery. You will never enjoy a svd the same again lol.

Unfortunately clones? Psssshhh clones are awesome. Don't let people tell you they are not. Those knock off guys do pretty decent work for the price.

And chasing kids all day, I see a car in the oldest child's future :) lol

You know, Carolina, Count, you two are both really awesome parents. One day your kids will thank you for all the sacrifices. It will take 20 years but they will.

With all the crumby things I see in the news about dirt bag parents and the parenting ideas they have on every reality show, it makes me happy to see how much you both do for your kids. Very lucky children.

Looking forward to getting an 18650 mech mod for sure. I was ordering a couple small things from that site anyway and added the 18350 mod to the order to make it worthwhile for shipping. And for the price I figured what the heck, I will get it and use it to play with and get used to the bottom firing switch. Honestly I was not sure I was going to like the bottom switch at all, but I have found it allows me to hold the mod in a more natural way. Plus I really like the fact that with the bottom switch I do not have to make sure the mod is facing a certain direction.

I do agree with you on the clones. However I think you have to do your homework as not all of them are made equally. Some companies just put more effort into the quality of their clone than others do.

Thank you! I tell my kids all the time that while I am their friend I am their dad first and foremost. And that one day many years from now they will look back on their life and be like "I sure am glad mom and dad made me do this or that, or wouldn't let me do this or that."

The world is a completely different place compared to what I grew up in. I watch the news now and I am astounded pretty much every day. I just can't believe some of the things people do. I just seen the other day were 2 kids parents were arrested. Long story short, the parent were supposedly addicted to the game world of warcraft. They pretty much stopped careing for and/or providing for the kids. They refused to let them leave the house or even go to school. The whole situation was just crazy.

Thank you, RML, but you'd get a different response if you asked them now, "You're the worst Mommy/Daddy in the world!" was a frequent refrain during a tantrum. Whenever we come across a situation in a movie or TV show which mentions the mistreatment of children (often in historical contexts), I will pause the show and explain just how worse they could have it. I don't recall the last time I heard our kids use that accusation....

That is the proper attitude to take. There are so many parents now who want to be friends with their kids, or be the "cool" parent who gets them things or lets them do whatever they want. Invariably, the parents run into behavior problems... and by then it's too late. I know many people are "horrified" that they turn into their parents when they have kids, but is it really horrifying if you were raised well? I look at some of the methods my parents used and they worked, so I adapt them and use them myself. That's not to say that one can't have fun with one's offspring, but ultimately it comes down to who has the final say.

With regard to the World of Warcraft story... sounds like the parents had a few more problems than just mistreating their kids.

Nice.... came home today to find a big purple ape in my mail box.

Grape Ape Loaded it up in a RDA as soon as I walked in the door (yes I opened it while standing in the driveway.) First let me say that I am not a big fan of grape flavoring in anything (kool-aid, candy, gum etc.) So that being noted I must say I actually like this juice. It is sweet without being overly sweet. The taste bring one specific thing to mind for me.... as a kid I can remember eating those rectangle shaped suckers that had the clear wrapping on them. I remember picking at the wrappers for what seemed like an hour to get all of it off of the sucker. Anywho this juice tastes just like I remember those suckers tasting like.

BTW job well done on the update to the labels as well as the packing of the glass bottles.

I am glad it arrived intact.

On the label issue, you guys speak, I listen. I hope this change is satisfactory for you. Let me know your thoughts on that.

The glass bottles do seem to fit nice and snug in the little foam thing. As long as the post office doesn't get to crazy it seems to work out pretty decent so far

RML. Thank you for trying out a grape candy flavor when you do not even like grape candy lol. You rock!!

Hmm Don't think we are going to hit the 300 post mark. So back to the main thread I go for conversations.

Well, It is ok. Time for us to recruit more fans. I will get you that cantaloupe released as promised. Busy week for me so far and The MILF is almost out of reformulation and ready for a round of special price testing here from all you fine folks.

But you will get your cantaloupe test released this week before the MILF gets her release back out into the general population.
