I agree with your agreement of the agreeing lol.

Curios, why does the magma internal chamber dip in so far? they could get so much more juice on the deck if it was round.

RML

You have to look at how it is designed. It has airflow similar to a kayfun where you air is flowing from beneath the coil. With that design you juice would have to set lower than the build deck to keep it from flooding out the air holes. They claim the juice wells can hold up to 40 drops of liquid.

Looking at pics of it I think it needs an extender in the air holes though. That will allow you to place coils higher into the chamber. At the same time it would eliminate you from having to be so careful while dripping. As is you would have to make certain that each drop you drip goes in to the juice well. If it is landing on that top deck it will for sure find its way into the air hole.

By the way I messed around with the AFC on my Tobh while dripping Astro. With 1 hole open on each side the flavor is definitely more intense and a whole lot warmer. On the opposite end of the spectrum with all 3 holes open on both sides the vape is much cooler but a lot of the flavor is lost. So I open airflow about halfway and I get the vape that I like with decent flavor and barely warm.

I would never steep that long..I don't need it that bad and I try different %'s and I just order tobacco flavor...too sweet but vg is sweet...

Just my opinion - I do not think a tobacco flavor alone would be very appealing. Most tobaccos really shine when you add some undertones to it such as vanilla or something to add a touch of nuttiness to it. It would all depend on exactly what end flavor you are truly after.

May I ask why you would not steep that long? If it meant you creating the exact flavor that you are looking for then why not give it a shot. Maybe next time you mix some up just fill up and additional 5 ml. bottle, date it, and throw it in a drawer and forget it.

well I do have a couple I have kept and I will check them out after steeping awhile longer..not that I am steeping on purpose but I never threw them away...

IMO steeping improves pretty much any flavor and in different ways. Now I'm not saying that all juices that are bad straight out of the mailbox will get better with steeping. I have had juices that were not vapeable on day 1 and still was not vapeable 3-4 months later. If you do go back to them please let us know how long they steeped and if in your opinion it has made a difference or not.

I don't like custard vapes after about 4 months. Their flavor starts to change, and not for the good. On the other hand fruit flavors start to intensify. I have some that I am going to need to add some unflavored eLiquid to dial it down for RBA's.

Well that is the secret with Tobacco. It just never works out fresh. Too sweet.. You can buy an additive to remove sweetness. Check out flavor art if you want an additive to change things up a bit.

And sometimes it is just better to buy an off the shelf flavor you already enjoy. I still buy a flavor from another vendor that I can't seem to nail down exactly.

That makes sense to me. That would coincide with my setup for checking flavors. Single coil, Small holes and I plug on hole with my finger and without back and forth checking the balance on the flavor. Slow draws, fast draws and so forth.

Astro is very tart and bold to me, but I would agree with you if i had bigger airholes. The flavor would be washed out. I like medium warm vapes, mostly, for now. Astro may in fact get a tune up though based on your feedback. I will just have to hit it faster if more flavoring is added to help tone it down for me. I generally have my caps drilled out to mimic medium draw on a analog. Slight resistance but not much. I have an very sensitive palate it seems. most flavors are a bit light for folks, so the flavor will be moved up and I will adjust my vape style so that more people will be happy with the products. =)

Thank you for letting me know about the airflow and how it affected the flavor for you. I think you are very correct that more folks would be happier if the flavor percent was moved up.

Cinnamon Bun already received a tune up. The first one made it more bready and bakery, now we are working on a bit more icing in it. More of a Christmas style vape.

Mmm and I think the Halloween Vape is done as well. lol.

Twisted wire is simple. 2 pieces of wire, a drill with a nifty closehanger hook and a pair of pliers :)

I am lucky that my brother does the coil making for us when it comes to twisted. He has a knack for the twisting super even. I am good with paper clip coils and super basic ones. He has a little more skill than me in that area.

All depends on taste buds and toppers and builds and setups etc. What taste great and full of flavor to me might be bland to others. Thats just the nature of the beast.

That is the truth right there. Dialing in flavors is difficult given the scenario you just described. But, I press on.
