I will look forward to it! Did you get my email? Most of the hurricane nailed the coast just a touch east of here, but we still had some fun. The storm occupied much of Thursday and was gone by Friday AM so 4th activities were uninhibited. I miss Big Bear, strike that, I miss CALIFORNIA.

My 4th was spent at work mostly, I chose to bank the holiday since I had no arranged plans, and then mountain biked in the afternoon. I'm originally from Tujunga, but I've spent time in a lot of locations in the state before moving east (again). Lived in Arcata for about 7 years and the redwoods hold a very special place in my heart that SoCal can never match, but I'd probably still end up back in LA if I moved back.

Finally had a chance to try the Caribbean jack and the green apple. They are both really good. They lived up to expectations. That was right out of the package too. I can't wait to see what they will be like in a couple weeks once they've had time steep.
