Hi everyone,

I'm a fairly new vapor - since this summer. Been running mostly eGo clones. My preferred juice is the thick Boba's Bounty and I've been having real trouble lately getting my Boge 2.0 carto's to go more than a day before I lose performance.

I did a little reading and some suggested to try some other carto's (horizontal, CE2's) but I read that those aren't without their own problems. I also read that there were a few people successfully using bottom fill tanks like the Reos with pretty good success. To be honest, I'd be happy if I could get 4-5 days out of a carto in a Boge. I've just never seemed to get the hang of using atomizers.

So I'd like to hear from some Reos users that are using think juices. Are you happy with the performance? This would be a pretty big purchase for me, so I want to ensure that I'm going the right direction in my hunt for vaping bliss. To be honest, I'm sure the Grand is a nice unit, but I think if I got it and then was going thru a carto every other day, I dont know that I wouldn't think it'd be more cost beneficial to just stick with the eGo if I'm going to have to buy lots of carto's anyway.

Thanks in advance for any comments/suggestions, etc you may have.

I can't help you with the Reo question but I was wondering if you thinned the Boba's with a little water if that would reduce the flavor? If not, then your cartos should last longer. You could test some in a small sample bottle to see if the flavor is reduced. You could also thin it with PG but that would lower the nic level. I'm not sure if water would reduce the nic level. Maybe somebody could answer that for me.

About 10 drops of vodka per 6ml of Boba's thins it nicely and doesn't affect the flavor at all IMO.

I did this at the beginning, but now I have a PG juice I like to mix with Boba's to make a 50/50 blend.
Its yummy and I make it up 200 mil at a time :D

(PG Taboo) BTW from liquidXpress its mild flavor so the boba's still comes through strong.
It has a vicious TH so it actually kicks up the TH a few notches .... Win-win.

The REO may or may not improve your cartomizer life. As some have pointed out, juice feeding from the bottom and not overfilling seems to give cartos a longer life. You might be able to accomplish the same thing by using the condom method to fill and refill your cartos. The REO feeding system makes it easy to fill from the bottom, but if it is essentially a juice and carto issue, using a REO instead of an eGo won't solve your problem.

The other thing that REOs do well is allow you to use an atomizer without having to carry around a bottle of juice to drip. VG juices, like Bobas, work very well in the REO feeding system with atomizers.

Boba's, Gorilla Juice, Hype and Raf are always in one of my Grands. Usually, two of the four are in both of my Grands. I get about 5 days per carto, and I'm using Boge 2 ohms. You need to feed them very lightly, as others have said, and make sure not to burn one before it gets juiced up. I burned a carto a couple days back and had to trash it. The burnt taste just wouldn't go away.

The Grand works very well,. It's mechanical, so it's built to last, and it gives a very consistent vape. The AW IMR 1600 mah battery lasts for a long, long time.

Ever since the many reo vets brought the feeding the carto from just the bottom to my attention with their post about it I haven't used my carto's any other way. I can attest to this method giving the carto extra mileage. I vape malty toffee from backwoods brew which is pretty thick too (70/30 vg mix) and before I used the bottom feed method my cartos lasted 5 days tops. Now I can easily go a week and a bit before I change it. And I also found I am getting less or none of that clogged up burnt crud that makes it feel like your sucking a milkshake through a straw near the end of its life now.

I've been vaping Boba's all day, everyday for about a year now. About a month ago I tried some cartos for the first time on my Reo. I ordered up some Resurrectors from CCV after reading so many rave reviews. I fill them with the provided syringe for the first use, then I just squonk them on the Reo when they need more juice. With this technique I get about a week out of a carto before I toss it for a new one.
