But, just think of all the poor executives at the FDA. If the tobacco companies lose half of their consumers they won't be able to "donate" nearly as much money to the various political parties and government entities. The FDA executives might not be able to afford that second yacht, and they might even have to cut back to only 50 strippers for their Christmas party instead of the usual 100.

Excellent article! Thanks for posting this. The original article in the New York Times is really having a ripple effect. I'm thinking the FDA and the so-called health groups who have done nothing but condemn e-cigs are really choking on this and are probably having emergency meetings about damage control suggestions.

The "damage control" meetings main topic is: how do we continue to do the drug companies bidding so we will continue to get jobs with Big Pharm after we leave the FDA.

How awesome would it be if he really brings this to the forefront... I signed in today to post this link, and I'm glad to see WV beat me to it...

As great as it is, it's nothing we haven't known for years. Great to see that he's educating the masses... Now if only more people actually read the news... It would be great if he had a tv show he could use to further this message... Oh Wait! He Does!

I love John Stossel....he spews common sense...something sorely lacking in politics. As a Libertarian, I support his views on less government intervention and more individuals' freedom of choice. I am so glad to see he picked up this story....thanks for the post. (And John Stossel is good looking, another reason to love him.)

Excellent article. The primary issue here is natural rights, the right of any individual to do as he sees fit with his own body. It's none of governments business what I put into my body or how I do that. Fortunately there are a few journalists left who would like us to return to being a free country and are willing to write about the "unpopular" freedoms.
