I don't quite understand. I guess it's the Bipolar in me. Are they saying if the FDA regulates ecigs, that ecigs might go up in price or may not even be available except on the black market? And we'll find out this month?

The FDA has announced its intention to “deem” ecigs as tobacco products and propose regulations for them this month. Nobody really knows what that will mean. They could propose reasonable regulations like age limits and manufacturing QC standards. They could also propose severe regulations that would effectively make them useless, expensive or very difficult to get.

The government shut down could delay their plans or they could put off any decisions for a while. In the mean time, all good news that comes out about ecigs just helps our cause.
