I was watching a GrimmGreen video and he started talking about the "vaping community" and how we tend to help each other (especially to quit smoking) I recently "re-quit" smoking after slipping for a couple months (but never stopped vaping) and this just hit home for me...please take a few minutes and watch this (skip to 20:00... 20 minutes in) Enjoy.

I've been subscribed to GG for years. He's an active and tireless advocate of vaping and for that alone he has my respect.
I can't speak for the grater 'community', but I know that I am always willing to help anyone release themselves from servitude to cigarettes.

    Always been amused by GG.
Still remember him reviewing Trog's Screwdriver. He got rid of it, (passed it on) and went back to vaping his little bitty suck switch.

OR, do ya remember the vid he did about venting the battery in his Silver Bullet, and then trying a new battery, and doing it AGAIN!!:w00t:

So his "hot spot" should surprise no one;)

Yea, that was funny. Keep in mind I was just posting about the part about the "vaping community".
I've only been here on ECF a little over a year so don't know about the "old days" (but do enjoy watching videos from back then)

I first vaped in early 2010.

Many of us started vaping with a Joye 510 or 808 cigalike. Then, the eGo came along and we progressed. Buying factory made coils was still cheaper than cigarettes, but we eventually found a way to recoil the current atomizers of the time and that became popular. YouTube brought us people who demonstrated how easy it was to make coils and mix juice and the DIY population began to grow.

Vaping became a hobby that improved our health and cut costs for former smokers. Once the market exploded with fancy mods and atomizers we all felt that we had to have one of each. Our smoking budget became our vaping budget and mod sellers flourished.
