Another hammer has dropped on the Canadian vaping industry. The Federal government announced it is moving to restrict nicotine levels to a maximum concentration of 20mg/mL for vaping products manufactured, imported, or packaged for sale in Canada.
Meh...
20mg/ml limit hurts DIY and small, inefficient, generally disposable "juul" type systems, but the majority of vapers will never notice a limit that is 2 or 3 times stronger than what they use everyday.
In the EU/UK, the 20mg/ml limit is coupled with a 10ml max bottle size.
This was done for tax purposes.
Pack of smokes=bottle of juice=X grams of loose tobacco; same "sin", same tax.
TLDR: Expect to see bottle size limits by the time this is adopted by the FDA for the US market.
