So I got a couple scratches from hiking and I decided to test the findings of studies that green tea reinvigorates the cells of the epidermis and stimulates increased differentiation of epithelial cells into epidermal cells. I dabbed a paste of green tea/water on one cut and left the other untouched. They were of similar size and depth on the same arm. The green tea treated one looks significantly more healed than the untreated cut after only 2 days.... I guess it does work! Green tea is supposed to reduce inflammation and is better known for its anti-oxidant properties both of which can promote healing... Something to try out if you want to heal cuts faster!
