So I was going to keep my thoughts to myself but changed my mind :p
I decided to try GreenCig carts this week, I have God knows how many regular cartomizers around here too. So I was hoping that the GreenCig carts would be great for dripping, for flavor, for vapor and for more juice held. I was sorely dissapointed :(
#1: Took me forever to get the damn cartridge out, I read every forum post on how to do it, and finally it popped. With it, my coffee went flying over the table, over my PC, ya that was great!
#2: So I refill it. First drag seemed good. After about 3 drags it tasted..burnt? It wasn't wicking right. WTF I put it all back exactly how I got it out, I tried the cart swung around all different ways. It seemed I had to hold it upside down a minute or 2 til it wicked and I could get my flavor from a drag. Ugh.
#3: I try direct dripping (Erm, WTF is in there? Real hair??) Anyways I didn't get crap from it, still tasted burnt, put more drops in. It gurgled, didn't get much again, probably cause it was overfilled.

So my impression is, I may as well be sitting here playing with my damn 510 or 901. It's the same crap, except I have to pull off the cap and pull out the cartridge and blah. Rather go get a new 901 atty. Oh and I even tried a straw mod, a PTB mod. Meh.
I am not impressed with them like I was hoping I would be. Now I'm not a noob at the whole atty thing, I'm a bored housewife, I have way too much time on my hands to play around with these things. I have my 510 and 901 down to a damn T on refilling, cart mods, dripping. I have my cartomizers down to a T on refilling, cleaning, changing flavors. I'm just not impressed with these GreenCig carts.

I will keep them, I don't like the burnt taste, having to wait for it to wick or having to direct drip to get anything from them. I do however have a Chuck ordered, I wanted specific graphics on it, so may be a while but I will try these GreenCig carts on the Chuck out of curiousity.

Anyways that's my take on them, yes I tried everything in every forum post I found. I'm sticking with my cartomizers :D

Sorry for the long post! :p

OMG! lol

I got some greencig cartomizers and also was disappointed. No taste and no throat hit - they were just bleh.... So I thought I would try refilling them with something decent and had the same experience you did - not with coffee, but with iced tea! ;)

I found no joy either so obviously we are not doing it right lol. Leave it to two blondes to screw it up eh??? No biggie! I am quite content with the cartos - I just was curious because I had seen so much raving about them.

Easiest way I found to refill the Green Cig cartomizers was to pop the outer cap, melt a hole (I used a small nail I heated up over a candle) into the top of the inside cartride (do not take cart out) just large enough for a syringe needle to fit into it and I refill them that way. I refill them by setting them into a tiny cup to catch any liquid leaking out of the battery side, but after a few fillings I figured out how much to fill with the syringe. Seems to work just fine.

It just doesn't even compare to a cartomizer in the taste category. It doesn't wick fast enough. I can sit and chain vape a cartomizer I've refilled, opened new. Whichever, with no waiting (except when I burn my lips)
The GreenCig I have to sit and wait for it. As I said, I'd rather just get a 901 atty and do that.

Hi girls! :) Two weeks ago, I started to scour the forums for feedback on the greencigs. I'm was getting fed up with burning carts and whatnot, so I ordered a 10 pack of orange greencigs and was so delighted with the prospect of getting longing lasting vapor, increased production, and no burning. In anticipation, I even took a dremel to my PPC and grinded the plastic edge away so it would hold the greencarts (worked out nicely actually). Skipping ahead; the package arrives and I screw a fresh cart onto my fully charged automatic, reclined back in my chair, and ripped the hell out of it. What began with a smile ended with a frown. It tasted hideous! The only way I can describe the taste is "plastic chemical-like". Even worse, they all taste the same. In fact, I cannot taste any orange whatsoever. I initially thought the glue inside was causing the horrible taste, so I took alcohol and a qtip and scrubbed the inside of the cart. I then threw all the parts into boiling water for 10 minutes to wash off the alcohol and sanitize internally. After that, I flushed with more water, blew through one end and repeated 5 times. I refilled with my favorite Strawberry juice and reassembled the cart, praying for clean vapor this time around. You ask, "What was the result rabbidboy"? Well ladies, I will tell you without delay. The plasticy flavor did not disappear, or even decrease at all. I will say they do produce considerably more vapor than KR carts, but at the cost of tasting like epoxy. Maybe green world technologies had a bad batch? All I know is right now I'm sucking on one of Steve's KR carts and it tastes just like all the hype makes them out to be...fantastic. :)

hehehehe! Yeah rabbidboy! That is pretty much the truth. I love the VK and cartos because you don't need to go through a bunch of "stuff" for good taste. I am just the curious type and had to try them for myself! lol

I think I have settled in with what I love now... no worries! Just screw it on and vape! Gotta love this don't you?

And Welcome! ;)

Yes, basically. The greencig carts will work on VK (KR808s) as long as they have the etched cut through the hole in the battery connector. I actually like the draw on the VK auto batteries, but the taste? Bleh... Even tried refilling the greencig cartos with juice that works well with the VK cartos and still bleh and too much work. lol No doubt I am doing it wrong because some people rave about them, but I am content with my VK cartos and see no need to pursue it.

I found the site that says GreenCigs are the best, but found no support for that claim anywhere else. My first email to V4L was about the 'closeout' sale on GreenCigs. Since the response from Steve was that V4L was going to concentrate on the VK product, I decided to read between the lines and pass on the GC. Really glad I did, since, as far as I'm concerned, VK is really the best, especially considering the outstanding V4L service. :)
