Here's a thread about greensmoke with a lot of good insight. From what I can glean they are super-expensive and the batteries are no good. Plus, good luck getting replacement parts anyplace except from greensmoke. so, the battery dies and you have to wait for them to send you a new one (per warranty) so now you are trying to survive on one battery until the new one comes. Unless you want to shell out big bucks for a spare.

For what it's worth, LeCig's Vapriot line is supposed to be GreenSmoke-compatible, and you can get their D1 to D2 and D2 to D1 adapters to use your GS cartos on a kr8 battery or to use your GS batteries with kr8 cartos, respectively.

E9/KR808D-2 stuff is still more expensive than KR808D-1, but LeCig's batteries are nearly 50% cheaper ($28 vs. $50).

Been smoke free over 8 months on GreenSmoke only. I saved money after a short while after that initial purchase. Had I found this forum before buying it would I have bought it? Maybe not. I didn't have an issue with batteries but didn't vape enough to need one to last "all day". If it got me through the evenings that's all I needed, and I charged it the next day. I had a spare. I'm sure there are other less expensive alternatives out there that are similar. The customer service from some of these other vendors is probably much better too, but the warranty on GS is good, a year on batteries. If you need something that lasts all day, choose something else. If you want variety of flavors, choose something else.

Greensmoke worked for me for about a month. But the tobacco flavors were crappy, the battery life was poor, its vaping performance generally inconsistent. Some cartos were dried and tasted burnt after a few puffs. Sometimes I would drag and get no vapor. I ordered some compatible blank cartos from Vapure and got my own juice, and that helped... but I soon grew tired of charging a battery every two hours.
After some research, I decided I needed a "mod" -- something that offered versatility, consistency and long battery life.
I chose the Prodigy V3.1 from Puresmoker. The 3.7V kit with low-resistance atomizers (for dripping) and low-resistance cartos (which I use the majority of the time) has been absolutely perfect for me. It fires every time and the battery lasts all day for hassle-free vaping.
Greensmoke definitely helped me kick the analogs, but in my opinion, it is not a long-haul vaping option.
Good luck to you!

The quality of the PV is not the problem but the incompatibility is (it is a KR808D-2 aka E9, not compatible with KR808D-1 stuff) and their prices are a big ripoff. And they lie about how long a carto lasts. Liar rip-off rebrander pretty much summarizes it.

If you already own one, and are in the 30-day return period, then I think return it. You can get an adapter to use up the non-returnable cartos on a KR808D-1. If you keep it, at least buy your parts from AZSmokeFree.com where the parts are reasonable prices.

I got a Green Smoke starter kit at the end of December and have not had any of the broken battery issues yet that some people have reported. It came with a long and short battery, the long one usually lasts all day while the short one will last about a 1/2 day. However, they are overpriced both on batteries and cartomizers. Also like other people have said the cartos are inconsistent. I've had ones that last me all day and others the are almost dry to begin with. I would not recommend them just based on that you can get the same thing for much less money. I just got a Vapor 4 Life kit today and from just a couple of vaping sessions I like it much better. The V4L cartos taste better but since I just got it today I can't tell you anything about battery life, the first batt is still charging and I've been using the USB passthrough. I am grateful to Green Smokes for getting me off analogs as I haven't had one since I got it six weeks ago but now that I've vaped for a little while I was looking for something easy and convenient but with better quality and pricing.

They are more expensive. That pretty much sums it up. Like any other mall/type brand. Personally, they were not my first purchase but they were my first experience and of course you never forget your first :)
Basically, it boils down to what you want, like, need, and can afford. They are a thousand times more expensive. But if you like their flavors, and the ease of driving to the local mall, then ultimately: it's your choice!

I came close to buying a greencig, very glad I did more searching and found ECF. They may be ok for some, some people say they work well, some say they suck. The biggest thing for me is the price. They are way more expensive than other options. I spent $30 on a Riva 510 kit and another $10-20 on juice and cartomizers initially. Have not regretting doing it.

I started out with GS, and it got me to ecf. So I'll give it that. 8 months on the GS is hardcore lol. You can save lots o cash by going another route. 50 bucks for a battery? 14.99 for a 5 pack of carto's(when I used them) is waaaaay overpriced. The Ace kit from Puresmoker is 29.99, and it will blow the GS out of the water on performance and price. Lots of other options as well.

Have been using Greensmoke for almost a month now - my first e cig. Have been very pleased with them, except for the price. They are high! Tho I still save money, just maybe not enough. Bought the V2 kit, and have been happy with that also.
Must admit, I will invest in a e go soon, and look forward to comparing savings!
Have had 0 problems with batts or carts on both of the above.

Yeah dude, but 50 bucks for a battery is ROBBERY! You should be able to get batteries for a 808-1 for under 9 dollars. A 5 pack for around 45 bucks! See what I'm saying here?

I get what you're saying. The GS helped me get off the analogs as well. Before the GS, I was using the njoy npro. The GS was a step up imo, but at a price lol. I worked my way down to no cigs a day with the GS, but it was a fight. My moment came when I got my first mod. It was a needed break from the battery charging, and ordering 5 packs of cartos. Once I figured out that you need about 900 Mah batteries, and your own bottles of juice, I had it made.

I actually had bought a GS starter and just got it monday, and I decided to look for a forum, which led me here, and realized how ripped off I got. So as a result I ordered a Inferno T (ego T) and I am going to send the GS back since I have the 30 return period still. I ordered juices too from Ms T's that I am looking very forward too. The vape production has been pretty good, but I have noticed that some carts are not good at all. Battery life has been ok, but they are pricey I found out. Plus I feel that there is no flavor in the carts themselves. The only one I really notice is the Mocha, but it is faint to me. And I was not really much of a smoker, though I chewed and am using a PV to help my oral addictions. (Yea Yea, insert oral joke here).

Hopefully the juices I ordered are 100x more flavorful than the GS carts. We will see I guess. I was just hoping to have better taste..
