Hello everyone! I decided to stop lurking and create a post (insert parade and ticker tape here).
About a year ago, my wife decided to quit smoking and give e-cigs a try. She took to it rather well and quit smoking very quickly, almost immediately. Im very proud of her for that. Me on the other hand, I didnt want to quit. I really liked smoking.
We relocated last month to a place where smokes cost 40% more. When I bought that first pack for $7.00 I became highly motivated to give vaping a serious try. It was bad enough to be paying what I did before we moved. It wasnt the cigarettes that were going to kill me, it was their cost. Just so you know, I am probably one of the biggest tightwads around. I once pinched a penny so tight it broke in two. Luckily, I have a glue gun.
So, here I am. I still smoke about 2 or 3 analogs a day, but I am now addicted to vaping. And I mean addicted. Seriously, I just sold my shoes on E-bay so I can buy some more Bounty Hunter. Our computer room looks like the banks of the Potomac on a foggy day and the wife has been looking for a light house so our dogs can navigate it safely.
Oh well, at least I'm in good company.
