Greetings earthlings

Hi folks!

I've been reading this forum as a non-member for a few weeks now, and thought it was time to join and say hello. I don't have masses of questions just now, as I've read so many helpful posts already, and I have to say the instructional videos are fantastic! I'm pretty new to this vaping lark, and at first it seemed a faff compared with sparking up a cig, but I'm getting used to these little rituals already.

Me - I'm mid-30s, female, live in Scotland and love anything to do with space flight (especially NASA's Gemini, Mercury and Apollo programs) - hence my daft user name.

I've been on the analogs for roughly 18 years, averaging 12 a day (maybe more at times) and want to get off the damn things. I switched from 'normal' cigs to menthol 5 years ago and can't stand the taste of non-menthols any more. In my first week of vaping I've cut down easily to 5 a day, but I've yet to find cartridges/e-liquid that give the mighty menthol kick of Richmonds! It's all new, there are more liquids to try, so here's hoping!

Anyway - just saying 'hello' before I go off doing some crazy n00b posts all over the place!

I was just looking at a review of that stuff posted this morning actually, it sounds great so will be my next purchase I think! They only seem to have it in 30ml at 18mg, so it's a slight risk - but should last a while, and it's cheaper than 100 analogs

Thank you! I like it here, it's really helpful and friendly. I've spotted a few disagreements, but nothing worse than anything I've seen on other forums, in fact it's a lot less .....y. Must be the nicotine in our bloodstreams

I should have said I already tried one menthol e-liquid, and it was from the place you linked! It's OK, but doesn't have that minty kick I'm after - it's keeping my carts nicely topped up for now though! I actually found it has an odd smell alongside the mint - almost like sweaty socks, do you find that?! I wonder if it's 'off'? Anyway, it doesn't taste 'socky' fortunately!

Aaaaanyway, I took the plunge and bought the 30ml of TW, so fingers crossed! I can always mix some in to my 'socky' juice to avoid wasting it

Same as me, 20 years+, last 10 on menthol, L&B, Richmond, Mayfair lol.

I must say I do like e-cigs.co.uk minty menthol (18mg). It's not like the real thing but the closest I have found for myself so far. I have TW Menthol (24mg) arrive today so I'll vape it tomorrow in a new atomizer and see how it fairs.

tribalmasters, if you do find it to smell OK, it is worth emailing about the liquid. At first I thought the odd smell was coming from the atomiser, but I can smell it right from the bottle. It doesn't have the fresh, minty smell my menthol Evo carts have! There's mint there, along with eau de trainer. I'll get that done by Monday.

Keltrey, I've had 3 analogs all day, last Saturday I'd have been up to 10 by now, Saturdays were always my heaviest! Best of all, they seem to go nicely with an ice cold Bud - compatibility with by beloved alcohol was a wee concern

Spyderuk - comment on the e-cigs juice noted also, cheers! I'll look forward to your comments on TW.

Isn't it ironic that my beloved Richmonds provided the menthol coolness, but still gave awfull ... breath?! I also know chewing an Airwave at the same time as vaping won't do the trick - that's just a bucket full of wrong!
