14 day vaper with the last 10 being 100% analog free. Smoked for 30 years at 2 PAD for the last 15. My son switched to vaping and in 3 days he was completely analog free. Same with 3 friends of mine. I thought, "What the hell...why not?" I was seriously tired of the mess. Ashtrays and the ashes around them. Ashes in the car, tobacco in my purse; where to put a stubbed cigarette if disposal wasn't nearby. And, the smell just started to get to me. So, I ordered a Vision Spinner and a Kanga ProTank Mini II. Being afraid desert flavored juice would turn my stomach after a few hits, I went with Coffee Espresso and American Tobacco - both at 50/50 PG/VG and 18 nicotine. I had no expectations that I would, or could, quit. Well, received my Vape mail at 12:30 pm EST. Half vape and half analog that day. Next day - one analog and the rest vape. Day 3, no analog and all vape. Day 4, I was bugging for 4 or 5 consecutive hits and lit an analog. Made me so nauseous! I just thought, WOW! Really? I haven't touched one since. Completely unexpected. Shocked at how easy it was and effortless. I'm actually pretty stoked and proud! :)

congrats abby, if you are getting anything that doesn't taste good, there are a couple things that could cause the scratchy throat. first, use 3.7 or less voltage on your spinner. if you haven't replaced the coil yet it could be getting clogged and giving a dry hit. dark juices like tobacco and coffee tend to clog sooner. try a new coil each week and keep the voltage down. i don't want your throat to suffer another day. very proud of you and let us know if this helps.

Thank you for the insight. When I received new juice yesterday - reducing to 12 nic - I changed my coil and cleaned my tank. For this Apple Pie Ala Mode that I'm rocking right now, 4 seems to provide the best flavor and cloud combo. 3.8 seems to be best for the root beer.

I realized this morning it isn't my throat that hurts. It is my lymph node. This is apparently a typical symptom of quitting smoking as your body tries to purge itself of the carcinogens. No pain, no gain seems to be the theme this week. :)
