Greetings All. My name is Eric, and I am only just starting my vaping odyssey. Glad to find this board, as I still have lots to learn. I have a lot of questions to ask, and I am eager to learn as much as I can about this incredible technology.
My wife and I used to smoke almost a pack a day of regular cigs on-and-off for over 30 years. We both decided it was time for us to make the change, but knew we couldn't do it through conventional cessation techniques (patches, gum, etc.). We started using the Blu disposables, which worked OK, but we also knew we wanted something better. So we upgraded to two CE5 units from E-Cig Express (located in nearby Bellingham, WA), and we could not be happier. We both vape their full-flavored tobacco blend (50/50 PG-VG), with mine at 6 mg of nicotine, and my wife's at 12 mg.
My last analog cig was two weeks ago, and my wife is down to only one analog a day. After this final pack, we will buy them no more, and vape full-time.
I am already starting to feel the benefits from stopping the analogs (along with the effects of detox, but I know this will pass given time). To be able to stay indoors and vape, while not causing damage to myself or my family, still blows me away. I still cannot get my head around it.
