Greetings from a newbie

Hello everyone!

I'm new to vaping and EFC. Even tho I've only been vaping since 16th of july (this year) I'm really hooked on it! I spent about $180 on a startkit and some juice, a week later I bought more juice for about $65 and recently I just ordered stuff from FastTech for about $150.

My background to why I started vaping (Quoting myself from another thread):

I didn't really want to quit smoking. But I have a newborn at home and my girlfriend nagging about my smoking. Making funny faces everytime I came inside after smoking, waving her arms and making weird noises. So with this I thought, what the hell, I'll give it a shot, atleast it might help me smoke less.

I did smoke 3 cigarettes the very same day I started vaping, but haven't smoked since that and been almost 3 weeks now. I do feel the craving for a smoke every now and then but I try to resist and vape some extra at given moment. Worked so far! Good luck to all you quitters out there!

And if someone is curious about my setup (and soon to be setup) read below

At the moment my setup is as follows:

• 2 Ego-M 1100mAh
• 2 Ego-C Upgrade 1000mAh
• 1 DC Tank 3ml (with 2ohm cartos)
• 16 flavours of 18mg e-juice.

My first order (just been shipped, YAY!) from FastTech contains:

• Vamo v2 (STAINLESS STEEL ofcourse )
• 4 Panasonic NCR18650B 18650 3.7V 3400mAh
• Nitecore I4 Battery Charger
• Pyrex Glass DCT Tank (3.0mL)
• DCT Tank (3.0mL)

• X10 Protank Atomizer with DCT Tank (4.0ml)

I'm extremely excited about the Vamo and ProTank! I hope the delivery will be really fast!!

You're going to love the protein vamo combo. I have been using that setup for about a month and it is the best I've tried so far. Just remember to remove one of the wicks if you find yourself getting dry hits. Worked every time for me.

Welcome to vaping! Sounds like you're getting into it and well on your way to starting a solid collection. It's definitely a fun hobby and it just tastes great. I can see it probably won't be long and you'll be mastering the genny's. Good luck and keep on vaping!

Same reason I started vaping minus the newborn. But congratulation on doing it right, most of us started on a friend's vape or on those disposable e-cigs.

Any tips on how to remove a wick if needed?

Fun and tasty indeed! Still struggling to avoid the analogs from time to time tho, but hey, who said it's easy to quit smoking? Been smoking for 15 years, so about time to cut it. Vaping is helping alot, and I must say this community seems great, which makes it even better! We'll see how far my collection goes, my girlfriend is not to fond of me spending "tons of money" on "nonsense", tho she's glad I'm not smoking, and I use that as a argument when I want to buy new stuff. And it mostly works (so far)!

Heard/read that the finish is somewhat sensitive on the other versions and since I'm a installation technician doing mostly hands on work in rough environments with power tools etc I figured I'd better off getting to SS version Hope it arrives soon
