Hello All

I (like most people, it seems) have been looking through ECF for a few weeks before deciding to take the plunge and post a message, its my first EVER message on any type of forum, so please treat me gently!

I've been vaping for about two months and have not missed the dreaded weed at all. Its been a revelation, I was smoking cigarettes for over 25 years (a pack a day) and a colleague at work had an e-cig and introduced me to the delights of 'guilt free smoking' (I've since learned to call it vaping).

I started on an electronic cigarette called "E-Lites Exec" I'm not sure if its available worldwide or just in the UK. I quickly realised its limitations, it took about 5 days, then I got an eGo and have not looked back. LR510 cartomisers, an eGo and some tobacco flavour juice and I'm a happy man.

I am looking to expand my PV devices (boys and their toys!) and the "Ali'i" (Bottom Juice Feeding Box Mod) is looking like something I will have to invest in soon.

Anyway I just wanted to say 'hello from the UK'.

Hello Ian and welcome to the ECF. Glad you found that ego, it probably saved my life (or at least added a few years to it). I too am looking at mods now, both the Ali'i and the Phideus Woodimus.

Welcome to the ECF community! While you are looking at the Ali'i, also take a look at the Phidias and the REO - also bottom feeders.

Hi Ian. I'm in the UK too. But am behind you in the learning curve. Am on Day 4 ( was a 20 a day Cafe Creme man, haven't touched one or felt the urge to since my e-cigs arrived on Tuesday). Bought a start kit from icig, now have a Riva 510 on order and have e-mailed the totally wicked people asking them to set me up with a kind of starter/variety/experimental pack. I find all this terminology a bit confusing so just want to dive in. Kicking an £8 a day habit gives me plenty of financial leeway for mistakes...I don't care!!

Was at our favourite local restaurant tonight, the owner's husband (he's the chef, a good one) is a chain smoker, took one go at my icig and we might have him converted, (hope so).

Anyway, don't know if there would be any merit in a UK sub forum.
