Greetings to all! I am a new member to the forums, and can't wait to dog in to the wealth of information that is offered here.

I started vaping back in July of this year on Ego style batteries and clearomizers, and quickly (within a month) made the jump to mods, APVs, RDAs, RDTAs, etc. I really like the flexibility offered by mods and all of the different devices. Also, obviously, the flavor improvement between egos w/ clearomizers is the biggest reason why I "upped my game".

So far, I have a King V2 mech mod, a Gus Tesla mech mod, a DNA 30 clone, an iLeaf iStick, a Vamo V5, and have been through two Cloupor T5s. No, I didn't break them with the firmware upgrade. The first one fell out of my coat pocket and thought it was gone forever.

I loved it - my favorite device up to that point. So I immediately bought another one. While the newly ordered one was in transit, someone found my original, so I had two. I resolved then to ship the other one back. But there was something not quite right about my first T5. Evidently when it fell out of my pocket, something must have been jarred loose and the bottom was wonky. It worked just fine, but I could push up on the bottom and it didn't sit completely flush anymore. So I broke down and opened the second one and used it for a couple of weeks. During that time, my ohm meter died, and I'd taken to using the T5 as an ohm meter - big mistake. I had inadvertantly built a .2 ohm coil and for whatever reason, I melted it. LCD, the board, everything. So I thought I would try to take the guts out of the functioning unit and swap with the melted one. To make an already long story short, I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the guts of the good one out of the case. So, I have two non-functioning units that could make one working unit. I am hoping to find some info in the forums as to how I might go about doing that. Otherwise, I might try to move the good guts into some sort of Hammond box and make my own mod from them.

For atomizers, I have the usual suspects: Vulcan, Magma, a couple Ugo's, etc. I also have a Kayfun and a Big Dripper. I should also mention that everything I have (minus the T5 and the iStick) are clones. I wish I had the dough to spend on the originals, but for now, clones are ok by me.

My current favorite setup is my iStick with the Big Dripper. I don't really care for sub ohm-ing, I try to stay between 1 ohm & 1.7 ohms. Occasionally I will dip down as low as .7, but my regulated mods don't like to work at that low of an ohmage.

My favorite ADV is Pencil by Must Vape. My favorite brand is Velvet Cloud Vapor.

I live in Southwestern Minnesota with my wife, two dogs and a cat. I am a recovering musician, although I frequently relapse. I work as a Technology Coordinator for a local school district.

Happy to be vaping and happy to be a part of this forum!
