Name's Tim. 26 year former smoker. Quit for 6 years, started again like an idiot, got addicted again. Buddy introduced me to vaping a year and a half ago, and I've been smoke free since.
I'm very much a vaping enthusiast and have become somewhat of an advocate for smoking cessation through vaping. I own and run a vaping enthusiast blog at http://purplehazevaping.com. It's primarily focused in the Ohio area, as I hail from Columbus. (Ohio State haters please be gentle) - I also run a small facebook group for vapers in the Columbus area. If you happen to live in the area please come visit us, simply known as Columbus Vapor Connection. I do it for free and for fun, I'm not selling anything, nor does anyone sponsor me. I paid for the domain and hosting with my own money and have no ulterior motive other than to promote the positive community and positive health aspects of vaping. I go around town, do reviews on all the local vape shops that are of note, go to a lot of meets and have really enjoyed making lots of new friends. Do interviews with local juice makers, and support local small businesses who are in this for the right reasons, and there's a lot of us. I'm slowly moving towards the advocacy side, and have future plans to help be a part of the solution when it comes to the lack of education among the general public about vaping, and the lies big tobacco and other interest groups spread about how vaping is more dangerous than smoking. That's one of the funniest things I've ever heard. I'm a systems engineer by day between jobs, so I have a little more time on my hands for now, but I try to keep busy.
I hope to become a valued member of a storied and highly respected forum for e-cigs and vaping. I also look forward to meeting some of you! OH! Current mod is a HANA DNA40 running temp control nickel coil. Favorite flavor this week is Muffcake by The Steam Factory.
Cheers!
