Greetings! My name is Alex, or Scholar if you prefer. I have been vaping since November 2013 and I'm just recently getting into mechanical mods and rba/RDAs. Any learning experience is better with help, so I decided to join the forum that I usually use to find my answers to vaping queries anyway. I would love to talk to any of you, and hopefully I'll eventually have enough knowledge to help people who are in the process of transition that I'm in now.

Hi I'm Ace I just recently got into the mechanical mods and RDA's myself. I'm sub ohming and love it !! I dont think that the juice taste nearly as good as it can unless your sub ohming (in my opinion). I just bought the Kamry 101 last week and I'm using a trident dripper. My kanthal wire is a 28 i'm down to a .8 ohm and all I can say is WOW !!!! As far as wicking the best way to go is running down to your local CVS and grabbing a bag of organic cotton, this also helps enhance the taste of your juice. Sorry I'm going on and on about this but I just love it to the point I just want to tell everyone about it lol plus I figure it's a good example. Anyhoo WELCOME TO ECF !!! Happy vaping !!!!

Welcome! I'm only 23 days in, but have found this site to be extremely friendly and helpful. I'm not a "modder" (TIL - Modder is a river in Southern Africa), but there are plenty here for you to meet.

pipeman - thanks for the tip. I was planning to go lower pg soon. Also learned the hard way that anything over 6mg nicotine is NOT appropriate for a Genny ow, my throat.

Ace - I'm running a .6 Ohm dual coil setup with 28ga A1 Kanthal. Using rolled #500 SS screen and love the flavor. Already picked up a bunch of cotton for when my RDA gets in from FastTech (could be years).

Abby - Glad to meet you! Even though I'm getting into modding, my MVP v2 is still my ole' standby. Nothing wrong at all with non-mech.
