Just wanted to make everyone aware of the experience I had with Geekvape.
Bought a black Griffin rta 25 about 3 months ago. This week I noticed the black coating has has faded and completely come off in some areas. The most concerning is on the chimney inside the juice well.
I reached out to Geekvape and they asked for details: scratch off code, video of the issue, then ask for pictures. I provided all of these.
There response was: "As far as we know, too long time to use the tank,there are some chemical substances in the smoke and this will produce mutual dissolution reaction"
3 months too long? And where is this coating dissolving?
Then they respond: "Our warranty time is within 90 days, for your situation,we are not mean to avoid responsibility,but please jsutify to us, and let us to chat and find out the situation instead of compain. ok? Can we reach an agreement?"
They offered to replace the chimney.
Fine..however I provided evidence that this issue was in other areas. I asked for a replacement atomizer and even offered to send back the defective one.
Long story short they got very aggressive and stated that my atomizer was too old and this was not a situation where they would replace it since it was past 90 days.
Just want everyone to make sure if you have a black Geekvape atomizer to check it.
