griffin troubles...

ok this is my first rba and i need a little help here...
got it in the mail, metered it... it comes in at 1.9-2.0 ohms
filled it up and hooked it to my Zmax. comes back saying 9.9 on the display.
tried it on an ego passthrough i have and it fires in short bursts giving off nice lil plumes

put the cap on and go to vape and it tastes burnt and wont stop firing!
the ego gives the double blink and stops.

now im afraid to plug it into a batt. anyone ever seen this?

9.9 errors are usually a break in contact (meaning it reads nothing is attached) could be not making contact with the battery post inside the head. or the coil is loose (usually no contact or shorting out)
I don't know that exact model but either see if the post on the bottom is adjustable or try like a 510 to 510 adapter

to be completely safe i would rewrap a new coil.

so i actually popped the coil on the original one... it came with 2 more wires that were pre-carbonized...
popped them both in short time.

the connection between the RBA and the mod seem fine, i think its just a coil issue...

gonna need more wire and more practice i guess!
