Well... the only part that doesn't work is the text of the posts in the thread. They comes up as white on white.

I'm specifically interested in Memphis Vapers - but I checked several of the 'Location' groups and all of them are like that.
Can you try this please and tell us if it works for you:
click anywhere on an empty part of the page >> hit Cntrl+A (type Control plus letter A at the same time)
In theory this will select (highlight) everything on the page. OK it's a kludge but at least you'll be able read weird pages with a weird template

Hello, I have the same problem with the ECF2-Darkened skin, i.e. the groups forum posts show as white text on a white background. And yes! The selection thing makes all the text appear, but selecting text doesn't really have the same effect as white text on a dark background, which my old eyeballs need to be able to read ECF. I think what's going on is that the skin is working in that area for the text, but not for the background. If it was simply disabled for that whole part of the forum, or worked entirely, then there wouldn't be an issue. If there's something *I* can do on my end to fix it, some setting I can adjust, please let me know. I've looked through all my settings and don't see anything that seems to relate. I've gone to the groups section a few times to check it out, but it just gets frustrating and I backpage out of there and forget about it. I guess I keep hoping it will just get fixed but it's been that way since I joined.
I use the blackened red skin too...
if it helps, what I do when I am reading in one of the social groups, I just change to a different skin while I am in there

Thanks for the tip, classwife. Not a bad idea, though I was kinda hoping someone would go oh, all we need to do is add this one line of xml code to the skin and it's fixed. But whatever, it's not a huge deal and it certainly doesn't lessen my enjoyment of ECF.
