battery just died.. led button light still works..... but no atty sizzle.. any ideas what it could be???

Sounds like bad contact with atty.... Take a small pick (or finger nail) and just very slightly pry the center pin. This pin is generally suspended/isolated by a silicone sleeve. Sometimes it becomes over-compressed against the "shoulder" of the sleeve, thus preventing power from flowing through the atty.

Happens every now and then.... and should not take much more than very slight pressure... I generally work it towards one side, then the other... Doing so relieves pressure between the center pin & sleeve allowing it to return to the proper height to make contact with the battery....

I generally do this to the carto (or atty) rather than the battery... If you mess around with the battery's center pin, make sure you use something non-conductive (plastic)

Hope this helps

Not sure if I understand what I'm supposed to adjust... I don't see any parts that move..

Looking at the connector end of your battery, there is a post in the middle. It is round and about 1 mm across - usually either brass or silver colored. That post has gotten depressed in to the battery just a little bit. You need to lift the post slightly so that it can make contact with your atty when you screw it on. I use a forceps or tweezers - and the suggestion to use a pick of some sort to pry the post up a bit will work great too.

So after pushing up on the little tab, nothing was working.. checked the volt meter on the tab, and nothing... SO.. i decided to see if the tab comes out.. and after inspecting the end, the solder broke off the little tiny red wire..... Looks like my only hope, now, is the try and disassemble the battery and re-solder it. . . Is there a manual for that? :p

Final Update:

So I got it apart... and even managed to solder the severed connection... only to break another.... so I patiently soldered that one... and another one fell off.... even STILL I repaired it...... and guess what......... another fell off.. It's like the solder job is soooooo crappy, that the heat from me re-soldering unsoldered another connection. I give up. it's a good cell, but the vapability is toast.... at least I have one left. Hopefully I'll be able to buy another one in the next 4 weeks or so. . . Thanks for all the advice/help.
