Hi!

I bought Eleaf iStick basick kit just 2 days ago, and I have some big problems with it. At first when I filled the tank and let it sit for a while, it didn't give any vape, there was coming only some very VERY hot air and little bit juice. Well, after about 10 trying it started to work like it should, I got a little bit vape and it started to get it more and more. Now I filled it again, because I want to try another juice. I washed the tank and dryed it, but now it is only spitting the juice directly in my mouth, without ANY vape. I have tried to change the airflow thing to fully open and closed it little bit, but it doesn't make any difference. Did I just get a broken one or am I doing something wrong? I would like to quit smoking with this, but it is disgusting to have to taste the juice every time I refill the tank.

It sounds like it may be a bad coil, maybe - do you have another coil head you can try out?

It's good that you leave the heads in the full tank to soak before use, but it's better to properly 'prime' your heads when new, before use. You can do this by dripping drops of juice on all the wicking material you can see, and into all the little holes around it until it's saturated (but not *so* much that there's juice everywhere!).

Then, when you start vaping, take a few pulls without firing the mod to build up a vacuum and to make sure that the juice is flowing, and then start vaping at low power and then work the power up over your first full tank or so to where you like it.

For example - if you like to vape those heads at 30W, then start at 18-20W and then work slowly up until it's where you like it.

Doing this ensures you'll get maximum performance and life out of your heads.

It sounds like it flooded from sitting to long....+1 on properly priming coil....

What kind of Istick kit did you buy? You may be able to use the battery portion of your kit and go to different atomizer.
You may have purchased an intermediate/advanced vaping kit, all is not lost.

Spitting is usually cased by flooding, not high enough watts, over juiceing wicks(pretty much flooding if it's a replacement coil head tank), bad coil head, or overall RDA/RTA/etc design.

Try replacing the coil head, prime it 1st(google/youtube if your unsure how to), fill tank try again. It seems the "Istick basic comes with a .75ohm coil" head and has a set "Output Voltage Directly Tied to Battery Life" 4.2~3.5volts/23~16watts Which sounds low watts considering it's .75ohm, see if a local vape shop has a 1-1.3 ohm replacement coil head.

If when you "washed the tank" you washed the coil head too? Sounds like the coil head is saturated with water leading to "I washed the tank and dryed it, but now it is only spitting the juice directly in my mouth, without ANY vape."

The GS air coils often flood on refilling. (Pressure in the tank?)
Some of the tanks also pool liquid in the drip-tip recess.
0.75ohm coils should be better than, say the 1.2ohm, for not staying flooded.
Maybe you can use another clearo in it unless the issues subside.
